Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xian

This sounds silly but the bathroom was incredible- high tech luxury. The staff are incredible -meeting you at your car, opening doors, calling the elevator before you even get there. Nothing it was beautiful.

Beautifully appointed in true Grand style. Exudes opulence. Staff very attentive. In a reasonably quiet area, but easy access to all the sites by Didi.

The politeness from the personnel and the aesthetic of the hotel. A real 5 star experience. They can improve the breakfast and the Chinese restaurant.

Very good service, all the staff were friendly, provided good advice on local attractions, attentive to our needs. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great! Location was convenient. We usually used DiDi to go to places, very reasonable prices. We were here in late March. It suddenly became quite warm. The hotel hadn’t turned on air conditioning, so we could not make our room cooler than 24 degrees Celsius.

We had luxurious stay in this hotel. First I would like to thank the staff which exceeded our expectations especially the doormen! We were greeted with welcome drink. Our rooms was upgrade to suit rich included the buffet breakfast. The food options are amazing, great coffee and fresh juice. The room was huge and big bathroom, very comfortable beds. We were using taxi to get around the city. Do not miss the happy hour on the top floor. Everything was beyond perfect and we will stay again.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at - excellent services, room condition, facilities and food. There is a very personal which makes one feel very welcome and at home. I would definitely go and stay there again. Nothing. This hotel is a gem.

Extremely.courteous and helpful staff, beautifully appointed rooms, technologically advanced washrooms, a chef who serves an exceptional plate of black truffle potato.soup, heritage in the form of two bicentury old trees in the courtyard - this property ticks every wish list of mine. And ofcourse Xi'an is a place that one cannot miss. The terracotta army is amazing and inspiring - it is truly.awesome, the Muslim quarter with its Grand Mosque and gazillion of savories and sweets it the most fun I have had in a long time. You have to try each nondescript.looking sweet being sold. Chances are that it will turn out to be delightful. And the Song of everlasting Sorrow in Huaqing Palace was simply mesmerizing. A stay to remember. I couldn't fault anything really.

It was a beautiful old hotel with the grandeur and history. The room was large and comfortable and there was an extra toilet which was really convenient. The staff are super helpful and service is very good. They helped us with everything we needed. The minibar is well stocked and free which was a nice touch. Though it is in the walled city and fairly central the street itself is near government buildings and in a quieter area. It is a 10mins walk to the busy streets and shops. Also booking through Booking.com didnt get me my Accor points. It is fairly expensive hotel.

We booked here as we stayed in Sofitel legend Hanoi and were expecting the same level of services: huge difference.

The wellness is rather bad for such a hotel. Sauna is only in treatment rooms, jacuzzi is cold, and the massage costs 10 times more than 200m further away.

set in the most luscious of gardens within the walled city of Xi’an this is a historic grand hotel. We loved everything from the very friendly and attentive staff to the delicious breakfasts, the complimentary happy hour where we met other guests and the comfortable large room nothing

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Sofitel. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. The pool and gym were a nice addition considering this is not a big hotel. Wide selection at breakfast. The captain at breakfast was friendly and gave great suggestions on city highlights. Special thanks to the chief butler Mr. Fong who was accommodating and flexible. All in all a great stay in Xian. Room service was slow. On our last night, we decided to stay in for dinner as had a big day out. Ordered at 7:40pm and dinner didn't arrive until after 9pm. Sadly, the three plates of pasta also arrived lukewarm.
