Only good words about this hotel! We got free upgrades, the room was with 2 toilets and so clean and even with work table. Everything was good. Even the location till metro was 17 minutes walking.

I stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Xi’an for one night and loved everything about it. The facilities were excellent — clean, modern, and beautifully maintained throughout. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a generous spread and great variety, everything tasting fresh and well prepared. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade, which made the stay feel extra special. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, giving us plenty of room to unwind after a day of sightseeing in Xi’an. The staff were attentive and professional, making sure everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations in every way. It’s a great base for exploring Xi’an, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city. I’ll definitely book again on my next trip. I liked about everything!

Nothing The hotel is far from the city center where is the stores and restaurants. We have very big problems with internet even if we have VPN and e sims. Is block all aplications like Youtube, Watsapp, Facebook, Netflix, etc. We cannot comunicate with nobody from Europe. Another problem is the staff dont speak english. Only few managers. Breakfast is poor for the money what we pay. Is not any type of fish, for example. Actually all Xi an City is different than other cities of China. You cannot find pork and duck meals restaurants. Only lamb and beef very spicy. The Terracota Warriors Museum was very crowded and is not any pleasure to visit. Thousend of people fight for a good position in front to see something in the Museum. I will never come in this part of China.

Not much to like, I wouldn’t have booked this if I have known the conditions of this property The hotel is old and outdated and needed a complete remodeling, there was and issue with the shower and toilet drainage during my stay. The housekeeper came and checked but found nothing, but slowly the drainage start flowing, same issue with the toilet. I think just an old plumbing in the very old building. Molds spots in the shower. Breakfast was so so, where other hotels were better.

Exceptionally attentive staff. Spacious rooms. Good quality breakfast. Minor architectural/design issues (shower tending to leak outwards, master power button turning everything off but not allowing you to turn everything back on)

The hotel is situated quite close to all the historical parts of town. The neighborhood is nice. The territory of the hotel is huge with several restaurants in 2-3 minute walking distance. The rooms were extremely comfortable, the staff was helpful and nice. It rained for a couple of days and they kindly provided us with umbrellas. The breakfast/lunch/dinner at the hotel (buffet at the restarant) was delicious with plenty of choices. I would love to come back in the future The closest ATM was across the road, but staff was very nice and helped me find the way to the bank. Otherwise, everything was amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Xi’an. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to access key attractions. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend!

Huge room, though dated and showing signs of wear, was very clean and comfortable. One of the biggest hotels beds I have ever slept in... The breakfast buffet offered a large range to choose from. The hotel is in a type of compound- a little out of the way if you need any shops or convenience stores - but it is very quiet and conveniently located in the city Level of English spoken by staff was minimal. The minibar was not stocked and items could not be purchased via room service.

All the staffs were very helpful and friendly. The location was great, you can find many shops there for food and anything. Walking a little bit further you can find Yongxingfang, a food street and traditional cultural district. The room was hot, fully heated from the central, which we could not do anything to change. Sometimes we opened the window, but too noisy from traffic outside
