The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. The restaurant was great; I thoroughly enjoyed the Chinese and American cuisine, and I was delighted to find a Chinese Jellyfish Salad on the menu, I like it very much! Some restaurant menu items are located in the cafe on third floor. Unfortunately, you can’t order these items while you’re dining at the restaurant.

I booked this hotel mostly because of the Marriott brand and was very disappointed by almost everything. The air system in the room did not work and it was too hot, the staff did not help solve anything but only mentioned that the sunny side of the hotel is always this hot (even in winter), breakfast was not great and each day the same, an espresso at the hotel bar was priced higher than I've probably ever seen (US$8!), and the price of the massage was also prohibitive for China (almost US$100!). The location of the hotel is also terrible to visit Xi'an landmarks, it is at least 30 minutes by car/taxi to everything except the Xi'an north railway station...

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we wanted to book a taxi to move around. The room was clean and very comfortable, the breakfast is very good at an excellent price, its totally worth it. I thins this hotel is a very good option very good vale for money. We requested 2 beds since we were 3 persons and the size of the room was ok. The downside is the location, to move around we use taxi and its a little far away from the attractions of the city.

The room is a standard for a Marriott Hotel, beautiful, spacious and will all amenities I was requested a deposit of 1,000 yuan without any explanation on the rules for it to be applied: the staff did not speak English properly at check in and was not able to explain anything, they only insistently asked me to sign to leave the deposit. I've travelled in high end hotels and this was a first for me. Also, the location is very far away from the city centre and attractions: we only chose this hotel for its proximity to Xi'An North Railway station (15 mins by car)
