Very nice couple who owns the property. They drove us to town, gave us breakfast and free onsen tickets. Easy ski in and ski out. No personal bathrooms. Only communal bathrooms in the hall but it’s not that big of a deal. They were always clean and two steps from the room.

Very hard to walk to with heavy snow! They did a great job giving us rides when they could but with all the snow it was difficult.

On snow accomodation, 100m from the nearest ski lift. Ko San and his wife were lovely, Ko San will drive you around the village to get to the rental shops, restaurants, etc. I cannot stress how kind they are. They will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Ko San speaks English very well, so communication will not be a problem. My room was very spacious and warm, however it was a traditional Japanese room with tatami mats. Never tried traditional Japanese room, but it is fine. Property is a little bit isolated from the village, it is possible to go for a walk to the restaurants and shops, but it is very up hill on the way back - I have done it myself a few times, but I would not recommend it if you are unsteady on your feet, it can be very slippery. Property unfortunately has no showers or laundry. Ko San will drive you to the local onsen every afternoon - coupons for free onsen are provided. I personally am not comfortable with onsens, but I have to mention that I did not read the description of the accomodation carefully enough so it is my fault.

The closeness to the ski lift is fantastic (and ski in is awesome) The lack of shower/onsen facilities onsite is so much extra effort into your daily hygiene. I love going to onsens and public ones are a great experience, but having to schedule lifts with the owners (and other customers) down into town to do your bathing gets annoying for more than two days No designated drying room, mean's there is ski clothes and boot and boards everywhere in the entry area. The lodge is cluttered, it needs a serious clean out because there is "stuff" everywhere it borders on hoarding

It's a very cozy place run by an older Japanese couple. There is not shower and the Onsen near by closes at 7 pm So make sure to get to the onsen before that time. We ran into a problem where the onsen turn people away at 5:30 because of the holiday.

The rooms is very spacious, clean and warm. The hosts are amazing, very generous and drove us when we needed a lift to and from the slope and town. It''s close to lift 29. They also provided free onsen tickets and breakfast. The location cant be easily accessible by foot or car especially when it snows and road condition is slippery.

Stayed 4 night during CNY holiday. Location is great ski in ski out. It is up on the mountain but the boss drove me from the bus stop. Free onsen ticket for 3 public onsen in the town. Room is warm and slept welll. Boss is friendly and helpful, and speak good english!
