We had a very pleasant family stay here. The location was peaceful and gave a nice Mount Fuji / Kawaguchiko holiday feeling. The room was simple, clean, and suitable for our family, with a traditional Japanese-style setup that the kids also enjoyed. The property had a homely and relaxed atmosphere. The shared/common area was nice, with space to sit and relax, and the overall environment felt calm and family-friendly. The Wi-Fi worked well, the room had useful facilities like air conditioning and a water kettle, and the self check-in process was smooth and convenient. Overall, it felt like a clean, practical, and good-value stay with a local Japanese guesthouse feeling rather than a commercial hotel atmosphere. There was honestly nothing much that we disliked. The stay matched the description and our expectations. The only minor point is that if you are travelling with family and luggage, it is more convenient to take a taxi from the station rather than walk. Other than that, everything was fine and we had a comfortable stay.

The staff were rude and unprofessional. Their attitude toward guests was disappointing and made us feel unwelcome. The overall service did not meet expectations, and the property itself was not as good as advertised. Nothing

Definitely a place for paddle boarders, pleasant, warm welcoming people. Very quiet. Comfortable bed, very clean. Manga collection was incredible only in Japanese though. Still under renovation i guess many more things to be added soon

It is cheap and it is a traditional hotel with tatami and everything. The person who register our check in was nice and told us where to eat It is kinda far from the restaurant, you need a taxi or walk 30 minutes, there was no staff in the hotel when we reach but after a message they show up

Public space is quite cold
-
Clean room and friendly staff. There were plenty of amenities available to pick yourself. Access to a microwave in common area as well as a wide selection of manga. The location is quite a bit away from the station. If you are ok to walk 30-40 minutes or can rent a bike overnight I’d recommend this hotel any day.

It was over all good but there was no staff there, and mostly not a good value for money. Should have been cheaper
-
Great location on the lake. Easily accessible by bus or taxi/ Uber from Kawaguchiko station.
-
Very friendly staff, nice view, good Wi-Fi

There is a piano that I can play a few songs. The location is nice. Along Lake Kawaguchiko and we can see Mt Fuji when we depart from hotel.

We left and found somewhere else! The room stunk like it hadn't had fresh air in months and the walls and couch had significant stains and to make it worse there was a massive huntsman spider crawling on the bed. My girlfriend screamed haha. I asked to upgrade rooms and she said it'll cost extra and the room was already a premium for what was offered. So we just left and sacrificed the $150 AUD we already paid. Don't stay here. So many better options

the location and the view is great. the room was renovated and clean. the staff wasnt polite. we arrived there early and just wanted to use the rest room. the women was apparently angry to us for arriving early. she wasnt polite at all. the man who was at the reception during the check in time was much nicer. however after learning that we are there for the triathlon, he asked us to move our car to the free parking lot at 6 o clock in the morning. The check in was at 10 am, they werent nice enough to allow us to park in their carpark until then or maybe for 1 more hour. there was something stressing them out. the airconditioner in the room is really really loud. we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. even though the room was very clean, the building and the common areas were not so much.
-
Right across from the lake and a 20mins walk from the station. Bed was comfortable
-
The hotel is so far, you cannot walk here from the bus station (Kawaguchiko Station)
-
Clean comfy and beautiful location No transport provide
-
The bus that went across the hotel is only coming every 1 hr. And the last bus is in 16, so thats a bit uncomfortable to get there. But beside that, all perfect!
-
The view of the lake was great rat. Also the room was very large. Great view of Mt Fuji from the parking lot.
-
Comfortable bed in large room. It was a wooden building so when the guest in the floor above / below you walk around you will hear every step they make, trouble when you are trying to sleep. Also the location is far from any infra nearby but right next to the lake, so it's give and take.

The room is spacious enough for 3 of us but probably not 5 ppl Also the tap in the bath room does not have hot water for tooth brushing or hand wash, only the bath cubicle has both hot and cold water supply. The toilet is too tiny and need to squeeze in
