From arrival to departure, we felt like royalty. It was a very relaxing experience with such kind staff and beautiful and calm surroundings. The breakfast was divine! We were also treated to high tea each evening as a part of our club access and a complimentary photo shoot, which was entirely unexpected! Things to be aware of: 1) If you're staying on a low floor (we were on first floor), there is a strong mildew odor. It was very off-putting at first, but we adjusted to it. 2) The resort is quite far from town and we were there during a local holiday so traffic to get to the city takes a long time. However, we were actually GLAD because it took less time to get to places for tours from the resort because we didn't have to sit through as much traffic if coming from town. Just be aware that you'll be away from amenities like stores and there is no longer an ATM there.

An exceptionally grand hotel with an excellent breakfast! We enjoyed our stay so much that we could have happily spent the whole time just relaxing there. The pool was wonderful, the massage was top-notch, and the gym had a great view with good music. Overall, it was fantastic value for money, and we would definitely stay again when visiting Jogjakarta. The rooms are slightly dated, but considering the overall package it's very good value.

The hotel is magnificent. It’s very beautiful, especially the pool. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Lots of people seem to come to his hotel for a photoshoot. The view of the volcano from my balcony was outstanding. I previously read reviews that this hotel is dated and I would agree with that. It seems that the property is perhaps too big/expensive to maintain. I stayed in July and the hotel was very quiet.

The room was spacious and the view was great from the restaurant. It is a very pretty property, and with proper maintenance could be a very lovely place. Very outdated, cleanliness could be improved, not well-maintained and breakfast was chaos. After I checked-in at the hotel after a long day, I couldn’t immediately enter my room because the lock mechanism to the room was broken. Instead of getting us another room, they got a technician to come and fix the door, but it took a while so we just sat on the floor outside our door because nobody could tell us how long it would take to fix it.

Bfast was good, even packing for early departure at 3.30 am was nicely packed with hot coffee. Staffs are friendly and nice. We got a room with a nice pool view and garden view, but the balcony was dirty, table and chairs with many lizards and birds dropping. Useless balcony. The shower gel didn't fill up after the room was cleaned, only found out when the body got wet, kept pressing the bottle.... Stains on sink.... The hotel room.lightings also keep blinking sometimes, we didn't inform the hotel for change as it will work after a while.

I was surprice, my room was upgraded, Sheraton give Room 517 (Bimasena Ececutive Suite) was so beautiful with three balcony, luxury, Spacious and comfortable. Bfast nice many variety with merapi view and staffs are amazing, kind and friendly Non
