I really don't know where to start! I feel like it's my 2nd home already!! Maybe start with the bed? I tried this hotel twice. And I always slept like a baby! Very comfortable mattrass. For me, the bedding and towels are just good quality. Next perhaps.. the room size with the price tag they put, is a very good deal. Plenty of space to move around. The shower is simple, but works well with hot n cold water. The AC worked perfect! Availability of Hairdryer, safe deposit box, clean and modern toilet, adds up to make me wanting to go back there again and again when I visit Yogya next time. Hospitality is also great! Very warm, welcoming, polite and helpful staffs. Also very decent price of room service menu with good food selection. Oh yes... The homeband in rooftop/skybar was also a plus point btw! The view outside from the rooms during both stays ? not too bad, just not meeting the level of the room's comfort. I wish the TV was internet tv. Where I can sign in with my netflix and youtube account. That would be heavenly!

The hotel has a good location. Not too far from any activities. The room was cleaned and the bed very comfy. The staff is very friendly and polite. To begin, I would like to express my concerns regarding the suitability of this hotel for foreign visitors. While it is a reputable local establishment, primarily catering to Indonesian guests, I believe it would benefit from maintaining its current format. Firstly, the hotel’s lack of English-speaking staff is a significant shortcoming for 4-star establishment. At least 50% of the staff I encountered were trainees, demonstrating limited knowledge and expertise. Secondly, the breakfast experience was highly unsatisfactory. Finding a table for two was extremely challenging due to the hotel’s capacity for local weddings and graduations, which resulted in a large influx of children running everywhere. The breakfast menu was focused on local cuisine, such as rice, fish, chicken, tempe, noodles, and Gudeg, with limited offerings for Westerners, including hash brown, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, and bacon (beef). Despite the presence of an egg station, I was only able to have an omelet during my 4-night stay. I raised my concerns with the manager on the first day of our arrival, but unfortunately, my remarks were not addressed.

Staff members have good intentions and the rooms looked ok. Hotel is very far away from the city center, meaning every trip to the center takes approx. 40 minutes. Also, a majority of the staff is shy, don't speak English and clearly didn't have training. When asking even simple questions, they would immediately say "I don't know" and respond very avoidant, which seems awkward. Furthermore, while the rooftop is decent, the rooftop overlooks the airport, which isn't nice to look at. The pictures on Booking made it seem like a great view.

The hotel itself was great with all needed facilities. The staff members were very friendly, but a lot of them were quite unexperienced. Whenever I asked for something, it often became quite awkward. Also, the beds were not very comfortable. I slept there for four nights and woke up with a soar back multiple times. Lastly, the distance to the city is quite large, taking approx 40 minutes by car and 2,5 hours walking.

Breakfast excellent. Staff excellent. A very good hotel. Highly recommend. I am a very frequent traveller and find now that many hotels advise little about what to see. This hotel has done a great job, the compedien in room shows photos of all the main sights and a description. So refreshing. Well done. Not a hotel problem, but would be better if more central to city centre.
