Liberta Malioboro South

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Both the breakfast buffet and a la carte options were good (had some western options). Shower water was hot. The location was good, close to Malioboro Street and the train station. There was a water dispenser outside of our room to fill the bottle provided. We would have liked more toilet paper stocked in the room as we had to go to the desk and ask for more. Would also have liked hand soap for the sink.

Room was nice and had everything we needed, people were friendly and helpful Our room was right under the washing machine room, so it was quite loud even in the evenings :/

Kindness of the staff and decoration of the room. It’s ok for one night Noise of people in the swimming pool screaming at night. Noise of the water in the bathroom even when you don’t use it. People knocking at your door at 6 am for no reason. No transat in the swimming pool so you can’t relax. And do not eat the breakfast we got tourista ! Do not take anything in the restaurant.

The room was too small for family., and the cleanliness of restaurant area at the front need more attention. The trash bin are overfilled will garbage but no one was look after it.

Good location. The communication here was terrible; there were multiple events/ceremonies taking place during our stay, none of which were told to us when we checked in. The first took place by the pool, meaning we were not able to use this area. The second then took place at 6am outside our room and was incredibly loud, meaning we were abruptly woken up. Both of these events included somebody talking into microphone, meaning it was unavoidable to hear as it was being played out of a speaker. Overall we felt quite unwelcome here and was made to feel as if we were intruding even though we were paying guests.

Good location, decent price. Best coffee shop in Jogja across the street. Staff was friendly but spoke barely English. Hygiene in the room and bathroom could have been way better. (We were sleeping on the ground floor, we had ants in the room + weird smell in the bathroom) There is a pool although our swimming clothes had a weird smell the days after.

Location This is my second time here. My only feedback is to replace the bedsheet and mop/wipe the dust. The bedsheet is already too old, colour is no longer white and kind of tear off. And, the floor and some of the furniture is so dusty.

Conveniently located near the Train station and Malioboro street! I would recommend it to my friends. It’s clean and comfy. Rooms are not sound proof. Same menu everyday for breakfast.

Breakfast was good, location was good, staff was very nice and helpful. Property looked nice and like good value for money but i am still recovering from the bed bugs bites they were very bad. I stayed in room 210 There were bed bugs or some other kind of blood sucking bugs in the bed. When i came to ask for another room stuff had immediatelly changed it they didnt look surprised at all.

Great location close to the train station and main shopping street, both walking distance. The cafe offers some local and western choices for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was simple but good. We could refill our water bottles for free and used the laundry service (smelled great!). Overall good value for money. The place is a bit more outdated than it looks like in the pictures. The room wasn't super clean. It can also be a bit noisy, the walls are thin so you can clearly hear your neighbours.
