Royal Hotel

I liked that I had a reserved parking space, that was most important to me. Room set up was different, but it worked and bed was good, that was important to me. Breakfast was also tasty. The best part was the friendly staff. Room set up was different, not updated. Hard to find a plug by bed. Had to unplug TV and put in extension cord to plug everything in. But it worked.

The hotel annex is dated.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast option had many selections. Coffee was great! The building was an older building and while parking was available, I circled the building twice to find the entry of a busy intersection!

The Pain Leaves restaurant’s breakfast menu, fresh food, & and service was a great way to start each day. The free coffee, and other drinks nice too.

Location to Torrii Station. Free drinks. Room was extremely noisy.

Hard beds and pillows. Our room was infested with fire ants resulting in large bites on us and our children. We ended up leaving early.

The breakfasts were outstanding, there was enough variety on the menu for any guest! You could modify your selections such as ordering eggs, salad and toast, verses the complete listed entry. The coffee was hot and very flavorful, the best ever!!! I like the idea of having a station set-up in the lobby that includes sodas, tea, ice cream, microwave etc., however, I'd be more discrete with the availability of alcoholic beverages. Although I don't drink, it's a great option for adult guests, but in my opinion the "booze" should be in a cupboard to prevent exposure to young guests, and the potential to explore! Mainly maintenance, it was great having free laundry services, but the two washers and dryers have seen better days. They have been overworked for sure! The towel holder in my bathroom was loose and needs to be tightened to prevent falling.

100% recommended! We had an amazing time at Royal Hotel, with the friendliest personnel ever! We talked about Manga for hours, we exchanged gifts, absolute respect to the staff! The food was sooo delicious, that people from all over the island were coming in the morning to breakfast there, service is at the highest level! Our room had an ocean view - simply amazing! The room is very spacious (compared to the Japanese standard), has all amenities required, with a really cool bath/ jacuzzi in it. The happy hour (free alcohol drinks) every evening made the stay in the hotel even better. Non alcoholic drinks are available for the guests free of charge all day long. Awesome, awesome, awesome! Something you will get used to is the US military base immediately in front of the hotel, which is part of your ocean view.

The location was great, the breakfast was good. We enjoyed the daily happy hour(s) with free drinks The BEDS (in our rooms) were extremely HARD.

The breakfast was included and plan was generous. Because, as long as you use breakfast coupon within the time usually till 3Pm is available all menu. Volume of dish was very good ? and delicious.

Has a lot of free services and facilities you can use (office rooms, gyms, sauna, etc). These bonus items are free of charge too. The room comes with free breakfast and a drink bar, and the hotel is situated near small restaurants The hotel is situated a fair bit away from the sightseeing spots so it's ideal if you rent a car. The hotel does provide free bicycles but it's still a fair bit far away to ride.

Yes, the free breakfast was very good. It was a good sized American breakfast with coffee. It was arranged very well on the plate, it had some greens included, and the breakfast area was good sized with tall ceilings. The room I stayed at had a great view of the ocean. There are many restaurants within walking distance that serve excellent Japanese and Okinawan food. There is a bus stop in front of the Family Mart store about a block from the hotel. I took a bus (one transfer) all the way to Naha airport. There is a big study/work area on the 2nd floor. Free alc. drinks/coffee & sodas & ice cream machine. There are 2 buildings on the property. Check with the front desk that you are on the newer building where the hotel lobby is. The other building is old and looks run down on the outside. The hotel is relatively near the beach so the salt from the seawater in the air may be causing corrosion on the metal doors. You could still get a view of the ocean if you are on the higher floors and the rooms costs less I think. Still a good value with the free breakfast.

The breakfast was surprisingly amazing, as well as it's included in the room charge, it's really out of expectation. The free drinks at night are also incredibly good. The room condition was also good.

The staff were sincerely nice and accommodating. Lots of included amenities and the room size is surprisingly spacious. Definitely a great deal. The building is a bit old, but in fairness, the room is very clean.
