Free parking available in front of the hotel. The staffs were very friendly, helpful and good at English. We love the private onsen. It was clean and make us felt very comfortable and relax. The room was very spacious and worth the price. Breakfast was also delicious.

The plated breakfast was very good and we liked it that you can choose your own schedule. In this way the restaurant does not get too crowded with everyone hurrying up to finish their breakfast and get on with their day. This also contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. The other thing that we liked is that the hotel was located outside the center where most of the tourist attractions are, e.g., the Yufuin Floral Village or Lake Kinrin. But it was near enough for a nice stroll. Initially we had some difficulty finding the entrance to the parking space. Perhaps it was because I was not good at reading kanji. Eventually it was easy and the parking lot was very spacious.

The room is big and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast are both delicious. Staffs are very kind. Toilet is a little bit smelly.

Love it, peaceful and tranquil, big room with great facility, outdoor onsen was great, and excellent service by hotel staff. Special accolades to front desk Manager Ma Chang Yong who went out of his way to help us make dinner reservations at izakaya Fukuzo (as we arrived late and dinner at hotel was already fully booked). He also provided detail transport info to the izakaya. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, great service and food super oishi ?❤️ Private onsen was below our expectations,

The public onsen and private onsen are terrific. The breakfast time is too early for travellers. Its better if half an hour later.

Private onsen available Generous ryokan meal and breakfast Friendly and attentive staff Hotel is on the old and dated side. Does not ‘feel’ comfortable. Air conditioner fridge were old and making a lot of noise, had to unplug/switch them off to sleep. Also walls a bit thin - you can hear your neighbours and sometimes smell them!

Convenient. It had a parking and the room was big. It also had a small onsen. We chose a western style room, which was comfortable, but looked as in need of refurbishment. In fact the whole hotel seemed due for modernization.

The location was fine for us because we had a hire car. It would be a taxi ride from the station. Lovely views from our room down to the town. We had a superb evening meal included in our booking - around 7 delicious courses. Friendly, helpful staff. My one small criticism is that our room was a bit on the cold side. It’s unseasonably cold at the moment and we could have done with some heating!

Location The private bath should not go by time slot booking should be go by who want to use by label the door available or occupied. Cause not all will use 45 min. This can make full use of the private bath.

Excellent breakfast and spring. The staff is very nice. These all impressed me. Nice stay. The room is too old. facilities need to change or replace.

The room was very spacious and the pillow and bed were comfortable. The garden at the entrance was very quaint and beautiful. They have free private onsen rooms with its own shower. Just need to book in advance. The property was very old and the bathroom was extremely cold. It was not easy to have a shower without freezing. The water will also turn from hot to cold intermittently. The breakfast and dinner were ok but no WOW factor. Although the lake and floral street are within walking distance, it is still quite a walk esp when it rains or snows which was the case when we were there.

Very Japanese and well kept in the highest level. This is exactly what we want None
