The staff was very very kind and accommodating. The place is quiet, clean, and the pool is great. Not too far from the beach.

Place was very near the beach and restaurants. Very nice staff. Room was cleaned daily. I was able to get early checkin. They brought my breakfast to my room so that I could eat without being bothered by cigarette smokers. There were no problems with noise late at night. Listing was very inaccurate. The sea view from my room was so far away that it just looked like the sky. There was no designated smoking area as it was anywhere outside rooms. They claimed sound proofing but there were gaps in doors and I was repeatedly annoyed by loud talkers at the door next to my room and guests in the adjoining room. Place was way overpriced, even with my Genius discount. I picked this place as it is a small hotel and reviews indicated no noise problems as many places in town. However, place was right next to cheaper hotels next to construction site so that noise could be heard here as well. There was no advantage to being at a small hotel as there were often smokers and/or loud talkers in the pool area and guests even sat next to the reception area smoking early in the morning while I was ordering breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice complimentary breakfast served every morning. Easy access to beach and other parts of town. Great pool area.

We had a very pleasant stay in Villa Huruma. The breakfast and the food in general were excellent. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The pool and the room was perfect. We like to come back again.

A beautiful laidback boutique hotel. The pool was lovely, the grounds well kept. I loved the property. I did not like the area surrounding it. Garbage everywhere. Dirty and dusty. The walk to the beach was a mess. Not the properties fault but it is a factor.

Great Stay with Excellent Food and Service! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—close to major attractions and easy to access. The food was excellent, with a great variety of dishes, especially the breakfast, which was fresh and well-prepared. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy to work and stay connected. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean, the air-conditioned room a welcome luxury in ZNZ heat. The bathroom was extremely clean too, with warm water any time and it smelled clean. No funny smells as I've experienced in other places on the island The pool was nice and warm. The owner and staff were also very friendly. The room description said "Double room with partial sea view "... there wasn't even a glimpse of the ocean??♀️ The food is not so great... you just eat to sustain yourself in my opinion. The flies during breakfast every morning were annoying.

A Welcoming Oasis Amidst Paje's Rough Edges This hotel proved to be a genuinely pleasant surprise, a true oasis in the somewhat chaotic surroundings of Paje. From the moment we arrived, despite the torrential rain, the staff's warmth and attentiveness were evident. Our bags were swiftly taken care of as we sought refuge in the welcoming reception area, where we were greeted with a refreshing fruit juice and a smooth check-in process. The room itself was a haven of tranquility, clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated in calming light colors. The quiet and efficient air conditioning, coupled with a ceiling fan, ensured a comfortable temperature, while the mosquito net provided peace of mind. Thoughtful touches, such as complimentary toiletries and bottled water, which were replenished daily, added to the overall positive experience. The provision of pool towels was also a much appreciated convenience. The shower offered consistently hot water and a well-designed area that prevented water from splashing onto the bathroom floor. The bed and pillows were firm yet comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The crystal-clear swimming pool and its meticulously maintained surroundings were a highlight. The staff's dedication to keeping the area pristine, including daily raking of the sandy areas, was truly commendable. Breakfast was a delightful affair, offering what was arguably the closest rendition of a full English breakfast we encountered in Zanzibar. The restaurant also served good food, although our chicken masala was unfortunately overly salty. Overall, this hotel offered a comfortable and enjoyable stay, a stark contrast to the dilapidated surroundings of Paje. The friendly and attentive staff, coupled with the well-maintained facilities and thoughtful amenities, made it a highly recommended choice. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind during your stay in Paje, this hotel is a veritable oasis. The chicken masala was overly salty

It's a cute place, a little smaller and different than I expected but it was cute and quaint. There's only like 5-7 rooms maybe, and so you get kind of close to the staff and the other guests. Nice staff, and when I forgot my phone on the table there the owner kept it safe for me. As a single female traveler I felt safe there. They have walls with shattered glass on top also. The room was nice and comfortable, aircondition working well. The bed was a little hard for my liking. Power cuts happen like all over the island. They do have a generator, although sometimes it takes some minutes before it's turned on. The WiFi was not super strong but it was fine. Decent breakfast, you get a few items to choose from. Great water pressure and warm water! Your bikini or blond hair might turn greenish from the pool, just a little heads up, bring darker colors :)

Nice property really close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay so much. Staff was really nice and service quick. Our bed was A few more breakfast options would be nice (something like avocado, poached eggs or granola). Our room had no outdoor space so we had to dry our towels in the pool area

The place was lovely and cute. The food is amazing ! And the place is very clean. It is only a couple of minute walk to the beach so very convenient There are stairs so if you are in the upper floor try not to bring heavy luggage . But it is still doable.

Very friendly staff and helpful - breakfast was really good choice. On the first day there was no water and I had to cool off in the pool as could not shower. When I asked I was told they looking into it but no one came back to explain.
