I had a lovely time staying at the Marriott Zhanjiagang Hotel. Its a great place to stay, with an adjoining mall. The rooms are very spacious and the staff were also helpful and efficient. Alot of the staff don't speak much English but were quick to either call on one that did for you or use their phones to translate. Nothing at all.

Air Conditioning didn't seem to be working during the winter months, so it got quite warm at night

Breakfast is average. It should have more international choices. The restaurant menu is so pathetic. There is no international cuisine. International guests should explore some options in the local market. Only the Chinese menu in their restaurant.

The hotel decoration and setup was amazingly beautiful. it has a large mall right next to it and defintely has all the required supermarket, shops and retails that meets basic needs. Rooms was clean and large with an interesting bathtub in the "middle of the toilet" kind of interesting but perhaps not as pratical for someone of a bigger build. nothing

Cigarette buds lying on the floor lift. Room stinking of smoke Went for a two night stay where I came to the room only for sleeping the room was clean but it stinked of smoke. THE AC DID NOT WORK also the hotel staff don’t speak proper English which makes it impossible to tell them about the problem To be honest I came to the room very tired and did not even bother to call them because they simply won’t understand. These are not the type of issues which I want to solve while staying at a Marriott.

Hotel was up to expectations Food choice for veg and non veg.. Try to limit exposure of all foods to pork. Identify veg and non veg items like yoghurt. There were some salads and oats that contained Pork. Some products had pork seasoning. It would be nice if kitchen and waiters could have some knowledge of halaal and halaal products and what constutes a haraam product. Service was excellent. There are many halaal products in china.
