1Great location. ---Right in the center of the city, closed to the night market where you can enjoy the local food. 2 Great service. ---the hostel provided information abot the city, sightseeing spots, food and checking notes right after the reservation was made. Kept us updates until the day we arrived. 3Great staff. Kind and responsive. 4 Day trip management: the hostel arranged day trips daiily, including transportation and discounted tickets. You may see a day trips list posted on the wall. 5 No worries about the language and transportation while you visiting ZhangYe. Laundry machine-- it would be better, if the machine is orpporated Automatically.

Convenient location; thoughtful services, especially the tour services and the transportation provided. The slippers are sanitized. 1) The shower in the bathroom is wetting most of the floor. It could be improved with a shower curtain. 2) The bed could be made more comfortable. 3) Adding an elevator could be helpful for people with heavy luggages or with mobility restrictions.

This is by far the best hostel in the area. It feels like everyone doing the silk road stops here. This is the only place where i met other foreigners. They also have excursions thru the hostel to see the sights in the area and they are all great. No complaints. No complaints

The family room is great. 3 good sleeping beds, bathroom, great location, near everything, local food, etc, walking distance to everything. The owner does the day or half day trips to canyon and geopark, reasonable price. Short Didi trip to main fast rail stop. No lift and we were on the 4th floor, top floor. But prefer the stairs and our room, than shared room.

The place is a good quality for price deal and the service is great, really helpfull and nice staff. Thanks to one of the receptionists i could book a taxi at 3am. The place is well heated during winter and the rest is flawless. Maybe ask before if you have trouble sleeping on hard matresses but i personnaly like it so. Thanks again to the very nice receptionnist ! The minibus to Danxia Mountains is so cheap ! Not something bad but depending on the App you're using to find the place you might have to go around in the back street from where the place is shown to be, basically just walk around the building until you find the entrance you can't miss it.

Good location and very nice host

The staff were the sweetest!!! All of them! Helped me with my packages/logistics, gave snacks when we didn’t have breakfast, arranged our tours. They were all very responsive on booking.com message center. The location was superb - close to lots of restaurants and street markets/ shopping places. Room/bed was clean and very comfortable. The floor can be very cold during winter, I highly recommend to provide a reusable rubber flip flops,most especially in the bathroom.

Very welcoming and helpful reception, really nice enviroment for those travelling alone. Ella is very aware of People's needs and very warm.

Staff are very friendly helpfully, organize our tour, good location, good price, clean room, comfortable bed and pillow. The drivers also willing to help us. The manager Ming?/ Forgot the name, help us to call the taxi and bring my backpack into the taxi. The taxi driver also helps us to show where the check in is. Nothing

Location was good and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. They spoke English and helped us to go to the Mati Temple. The shared bathrooms were hot and the lockers weren’t so clean. The sinks were in a separate room.

The Staff help us for travelling in Zhangye. The owner took me to a local restaurant and it was delicious.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us book the tour cars to the grand canyon, daxia rainbow mountains and the grottoes. Super convenient and cheap. They even gave us free breakfast, while it was not included in the booking, i think it came with the cars we booked. They also gave great restaurant recommendations. You can do laundry there, bathrooms are very clean and vibe is really friendly. Location is great, in the middle of the center, Zhangye is a nice city to roam around. Nothing.

Good Steps

All the sights of Zhangye are walkable from this friendly hostel. The rooms are great and the hosts are helpful in planning all kinds of excursions- there is a list with prices posted next to the lobby, very affordable small group tours. You can arrange transport from the train station and day trips to the top attractions. The breakfast was so yummy, and they shared their special brewed flower tea and locally grown watermelon with everyone. I felt very welcome here.

The staff(I think the owners as well) are very friendly, they gave great suggestions where and how to go to places
