The Hotel Limmathof occupies a historic building 984 feet from Zurich main train station and offers easy access to all points in the entire city, as the "Central" public transport stop is just in front of the hotel. A restaurant is located on site. The shopping area, museums, theaters, cinemas and the university are easily reachable on foot. A small continental breakfast is available on request. Wireless internet is available in all rooms at the Limmathof hotel free of charge. Zürich Airport is reachable within 35 minutes with the number 10 tram. We don't offer any rooms with air conditioning.

Very good value for money if you need a place for one night transiting. Room was spotless and had all sope, shampoo etc. Optional breakfast was basic and nice. We had trouble finding the entrance at night because the signs aren't vivid enough. The luggage storage isn't monitored (there's a warning sign about that). You get the key and do whatever you want there. When I came back to take my luggage, the receptionist just gave me the key without asking my identity.

The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the train station and there is a tram stop right outside. It's by the river too. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. It was soooo hot. The hotel did their best by providing 2 fans but it was very uncomfortable

Location No AC, had a very unpleasant stay in August. Very small rooms

The location was very convenient. Right near the central railway station. There was a very strong fan in the room which was good as it was very hot. The room was very basic.

Breakfast was fantastic. Very hot on the 3rd floor - fans and plugs inadequate in the room (an extension cord would have been helpful to get one or both fans IN the window to cool down the room).

The location is great, the breakfast is lovely, and all the people working there are nice and helpful. The rooms are small which is ok, but the bathroom is uncomfortable (in my room the bathroom door got stuck on the toilet and I had to jump over the toilet in order to get my towel, plus the hot-cold water situation was not so good).

The room is small but fairly equipped and clean. The location is great, at walkable distance from the train station and the old town. The personnel was kind.
