Localization and accessibility are highly centralized within the old town, making it easily accessible on foot or by transportation. The absence of air conditioning is a significant concern. While I had a small fan, even opening the windows did not provide adequate cooling. Additionally, the noise from the streets would make it inconvenient to keep the windows open.

It was in the center It’s small; and if you come in the summer, in the room it’s hotter than outside. There is no A/C

No Airconditioning

Close to tram stop! In a good location. Staff not always available. Could be better but if you need a place to rest only this will do.

Nothing. I arrived with a confirmed and prepaid reservation, yet the hotel informed me they were overbooked and had no room available. I was forced to wait around three hours in the lobby before they finally gave me a room, which completely ruined my evening plans in Zurich. During the entire wait, the receptionist ignored us, did not provide any updates, and did not even offer a glass of water, despite the long delay and the clear inconvenience they had caused. When I finally entered the room, there were no towels, it did not look clean, and the door could not be properly locked. To make things even worse, the hotel later reported to Booking.com that I did not check in, even though I was already staying in the room. This created unnecessary stress and confusion. Overall, the handling of the overbooking, the long wait, the lack of basic courtesy from staff, the condition of the room, and the false report to Booking.com were completely unacceptable.

I could have easily given this place just two stars. I opted to be nice because of its location. That is the only reason. Checking in was very difficult as no one was in the reception area. I tried the numbers listed at the door too. Still, no one and no answer. I came back again fifteen minutes later and still there was no one at the reception desk. I knocked and knocked to no avail, so I resulted to pounding on the door. Finally, a young lady came to help us check in. She was pleasant enough and simply shrugged off our frustration by offering us a cold water. The room itself was fine, albeit small. However, it is on the very affordable end of the spectrum. The bed was comfortable, the towels were clean, and the bathroom and shower very functional. We even had a large stand-up fan in the room. We stayed three nights and had no issues...until check out. Again, the missing person at reception made check out difficult. My wife and i went for a coffee and returned to give it one more try. Nope! Luckily, I prepaid for the room. The location is perfect!! A few blocks from the train station (Stadelhofen). The bar is amazing to have attached and we met some great people. I absolutely have to rave about the bartender, Tico!! He really made our visit welcoming!! Starting with checking in, making great drinks, playing great music, the atmosphere, all of it!! Can't tell you enough that you have a great team member!! Thank you Tico for everything!! The rooms are a lot smaller than what the pictures make it look like but honestly if some furniture rearranging was done, the room would have been a lot better. We were in room 404 & may I suggest removing the large chair and replacing with a smaller chair that will fit under the desk. That way adding a fold up luggage holder would be a great addition! Also, I saw other reviews about a rooftop terrace but missed it until we were shown. The random opening/closing buttons on the wall could have a sign posted to let people know thats how you get there because it really is a nice area!
