Excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and the promenade. Many restaurants and bars very close by. The staff were helpful. Pretty good breakfast. No air conditioning and very loud in the evenings and at night. I strongly recommend checking the weather before booking this hotel (or any other hotel in this area). If temperatures are above 25-30 Celsius during the day, it will be quite miserable at night, even if the temperature drops below 20 at night (unless you are used to sleeping in a room ~23-26 Celsius). We had to keep the windows open during the night but then it was super loud all night long - people partying, speaking loudly, dogs barking, motorcycles driving by. The room was very simple and relatively small, with only the basics. Did not have the iron but we could borrow it at front desk (no ironing board though). Checking in after 11pm was a challenge - we had to do it through a video call with someone but the machine was glitching, computer needed to be restarted, the connection was poor. We did it but it was a bit of a hassle. Also, we actually arrived ~3 minutes before the 11pm cutoff but the reception was already closed.

Located just two blocks from playa Orzan and not far from the old town. My room was across from the Lolita Bar and there were loud guys partying until 4 am on a Wednesday. Also, a bus goes down that small street. If you’re sound sensitive, request an inner courtyard room and higher floor. Shower was good and bed was comfy. You can’t go wrong with Alda Hotels in A Coruña. I’ve stayed in three and my favorite was Alda Galería. Lobby didn’t have outlets for charging or a large sitting area. And no free water like Alda Galería.

Location close to the old town and the beach. Clean room. Bed was a bit soft for me but that is a preference, that depends on the person. We were facing a side street and with the windows open there was some road noise. (No AC) AC was not needed BTW. Closed up the windows and the external shades and as the town quieted down the noise was normal for a city. We were in the third floor.

perfect location twin beds no boiler no iron as usual given bad room on courtyard and when i object they change most of hotels do like this unfortunetly

It served as a nice place to rest as we explored A Coruña with our Camino friends.

The beds were comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Housekeeping sprayed a lot of perfume or something just before we came in and we had to leave for a bit to let it air out. The bathroom was not super clean, and the shower let water out onto the floor.

Location Staff The toilet cover was a little bit loose and the shower needs an upgrade.

Close to the city and the sea shore A little tight

Liked location and on site parking. Too long to list but the worse thing was the water damaged walls and many pigeons outside the window, plus thinly insulated walls. I would not recommend this place.

Unbeatable location, right next to the seaside, beach, main museum (Domus), aquarium, and the most impressive lighthouse I know. Oposite direction and you are in the very city centre in two minutes walk. The room was large, a nice bathroom with walk-in shower, very clean. They have a car park in the building, small and not easy to navigate, but very convenient. The personal was simply fantastic. The breakfast was good enough and at a good price. There is a building next to the hotel which is pretty much abandoned, colonized by pigeons, and that unfortunately was directly to our side where our window pointed. It is obviously not the fault of the hotel that the city council allows such disaster, but it is not a pleasant view. Surely there are other rooms that look to the street.

Prime location, has parking which is a huge plus, staff very nice and very reasonable price Not that we didn’t like but a note that rooms don’t have air conditioning… A Coruña has cool weather this time of year so really not a huge matter but it was warn enough that we had to sleep with the window open and you could listen to outside noises

The hotel is near the beach, the old city and a supermarket. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice. Some apartment windows have a direct view into the room unless I close the shutters outside of the window all the way. This takes away all sunlight (and fresh air) though. I recommend hanging some (light) curtains to block the view.

Nice place to stay for several nights, perfect location All was good, maybe have some more options for breakfast. Bathroom has weak ventilation. The rest was perfect!

The location is amazing and the staff is also nice For some reason we were put in what I think was the only room located outside of the closed hallway where all rooms were. It was right beside the reception desk and we could hear every sound. So the noise was unbearable, we woke up lots of times whenever there was someone talking with the receptionist. The beds were also very uncomfortable. The view was horrible as well, to an old building falling apart, but that's okay if you're staying in the hotel just to sleep, which was our case.
