Super 8 by Wyndham Abilene North

There was nothing to like about that property. When we arrived , there was no air conditioning in the front lobby. When we entered our room , it was eighty three degrees in there. The t v would not work. The flooring was bubbled up and chipped in numerous places. One of the lamps was not working so it was dark in the room. There were scrapes and bumps all around the walls. The only ice machine they had did not work. It was a hundred and four degrees outside and the pool was closed!!!. That room was absolutely not worth the money.I spent to even stay one night and I will never , ever stay there again!

The room was disgusting and if it had carpet, it smelled really bad. Think it has bed bugs.

Was there for work and the tub was dirty, mounds of ants all on the sidewalk out side of doors and entering the room. Will not stay again.

Pictures on website showed different then the actual property. Pool wasn't working and carpet in lobby smelt bad. Did not stay.

Disgusting from the moment I stepped out of my car to check in. Grounds were unkept & littered with trash & cigarette butts, lobby had no air conditioning. Room was just as bad or worse. Bed shook just setting bags on it. Carpet was pure filth. Tub stained or filthy. Hairs in the bed sheets. Put everything back in my car and left….leaving me to search out another hotel at 11:00 at night. I knew it wasn’t going to be a 5 star hotel because of the price but just needed a place to lay my head for a few hours so I didn’t need luxury but this place was beyond disgusting.

I see a lot of deferred maintenance. The rooms look outdated. My deadbolt did not work. The toilet is sized for a toddler. Not an adult. The air conditioner in the room was so loud it did not let me sleep. I did not see the "breakfast".

Just needed a place to sleep for a few hours, I was able to do that. Door was very flimsy, seems it could’ve been opened easily, smelled very musky. Carpet is old af. I would say you get what you pay for. But honestly feel it’s overcharged there. But I guess it’s the area.

The clerk at checkin was nice. This place should be condemned. The room was terrible. There was no toilet paper holder just a hole in the wall. The shower looked like it had been installed by a blind 4 year old. The controls in the shower were so loose we thought they going to come out of the wall. The price was ridiculous. We weren't sure of our schedule so we had to book the day of our stay. How they had the nerve to charge $161 a night for this dump is atrocious. No breakfast. The a/c wasn't working in reception. I realize this is a "budget" hotel and will never be a 5star resort but this place isn't even a 1star property. Wyndham should be embarrassed to have it's name on this place.

Exceptional

I liked nothing about the property, It was not properly cleaned or outfitted, No phone in the room, stains on the carpet, walls, tub. Overpriced and other tenants were smoking pot and drinking out in the parking lot. Looked like an hourly joint.

It was a disgusting property and my room was considered unsafe as the door facing was not secure. I did not stay the night. Check back out immediately. Waste of my money to reserve in advance.

This was the most horrendous hotel that I can remember. Upon entering the room, the floor was covered in dead roaches. Went into the restroom and discovered a booger that was wiped on the wall. After leaving the restroom I noticed that not all of the roaches were dead. Not wanting to discover or possibly take home anymore surprises, I grabbed my stuff and left. Since I got in late, I couldn't find another hotel with vacancies. I ended up sleeping in my car and I'm happy I did. This was one of those hotels where you know you're screwed the second you pull into the parking lot.

My room was clean . Bed was comfortable. but laminate flooring was coming up, the vanity light did not work and the commode seat was loose. also no ice available.

Filthy, not kept up, bathroom door doesn't fit, the whole place is a disaster
