President Park Hotel

The staff and food were excellent Room and bathroom were very, very small. No room for luggage.

The place has a great view and is just 7 minutes away on Cyclopes Island. Breakfast was good. Too bad the pool is closed from May 8–10 and will reopen only in the summer. There was a lot of parking, so that’s great. You cant bring any food in the property

The room was supposed to have a good view but instead we got a rock wall, room was dirty and when we ask the staff to change it they said that the hotel was full booked , sincerely we stayed the whole 3 nights because we didn’t have the option to change our flight back to rome and the hotel didn’t have cancellation but it was the worse hotel that we stayed in our trip, also was really far away from everything, just to go to a restaurant we had to drive like 30 mins and to the beach even more. The property was comfortable, and there was all the amenities of a hotel. View was not great from our room, we were looking at a wall, the drive there was awful, someone scratched amour car in the parking. They also charge for towels at the pool, and they don’t offer a lot of options for people with allergies at the breakfast.

The reception staff were exceptional. We made an error getting into cab and not the shuttle bus...but, they did not treat us like idiots and were very understanding. Great sense of humour. They did absolutely everything they could for us to make us comfortable. The rooms were great. Really clean. The room servicing fitted in with our plans and was just what we needed. Sadly the breakfast options were the least interesting and tempting of the 5 hotels we had stayed in during our week stay. Very limited hot options. No potatoes, tomatoes, sausages, fish. Such a shame. We were disappointed the cocktail bar and roof terrace was not open. The temp was 30o...our holiday was continued but the hotel was clearly shutting down. Finally. We had to leave at 7am but could not get an expresso coffee before we left the reception was dark and there was certainly no coffee to be had. We were disappointed.

This is an excellent hotel, very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very good, spacious with a comfortable bed, good toiletries and shower. Breakfast was excellent; good, varied food and helpful staff. Overall we loved our stay. Fantastic view from the third floor room. Not being able to bring drinks into our room is odd; we thought a little dictatorial in the paperwork about what we could and couldn’t do. No coffee in the bedroom was as little strange. The restaurant was a little bit of a letdown.

As I said before, the hotel is pretty secluded, but a short drive leads you to the seaside. It is very easy to find, but the roads are winding and pretty scary and dark at night. Also , we had breakfast in an underground area, not in the Roof Garden. Our room was ground floor so we had no view of the sea - just the pool. Our experience was a little marred when a team of young teen boys came to the hotel - the noise at night with banging of doors and shouting next door meant we could not really sleep - we had to get up at 3:30am due to an early journey back home; but eventually someone came to stop them and we managed a couple of hours. All in all, we would stay there again as we loved the hotel and staff.

The location was a bit out of the way. It said it only , .4 miles away from the old Catania historic center. Took us half hour by car to get there. Must have been a different district center. Sm Too many kids in the pool.

The host is located with very comfortable beds, fully equipped. We stayed in a 2 bedroom room. With a large bathroom. Comfortable in all areas. Breakfast is not the best, but there is enough.
