We booked at short notice via cell phone, an although it was carnevale evening and the city full of visitors, Antonio, the host, was there immediately, parked our very large car safely in his courtyard, and gave us a wonderful room. The room, the breathtaking view, the nice breakfast, and the excellent service were the best we experienced on our week long tour through Sicily. Antonio even sent me the charging cable for my cell phone that I had forgotten. Acireale is a dreamlike place and the accommodation is magical. You absolutely must go there!

The location is good, the room is very clean and spacious. There are 2 great roof terraces to use. Antonio is welcoming and informative.

I stayed here with my partner as we were visiting Acireale for my friend’s wedding - we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! The view from the communal roof terrace was absolutely breathtaking, with the sea on one side and Mount Etna from the other. I actually exclaimed “oh my god!” in amazement when we got to the top of the stairs and saw it for the first time ❤️ The apartments are in a gorgeous historic building. The room was huge, with a super comfortable bed, and a Juliet balcony looking over the square and Mount Etna. And as soon as we left the room, we were on that beautiful roof terrace ? There were not many other people around, so we felt like this huge terrace was all ours to enjoy. The location is perfect. A very easy walk to the centre of Acireale, and close to the train station for trips to Catania, Taormina, Giardini-Naxos etc. The absolute highlight of the trip was the amazing host, Antonio ? Antonio is such a wonderful, friendly person - he always has a smile on his face, and he was always eager to help us and give us suggestions about the area, while still respecting his guests’ privacy. He made our holiday perfect and we would go back to his beautiful apartments in a heartbeat! Gracie Millie Antonio! Ci per aver reso la nostra visita così speciale! Ci piacerebbe tornare di nuovo molto presto ❤️ Breakfast - the breakfast was laid out in such a cute way, with a variety of pastries, juices etc, but it wasn’t really to my taste. That’s probably just a personal thing though! There were a lot of stairs up to our room. The last staircase in particular was very steep and narrow, and a bit difficult with suitcases. But SO worth it for the view at the top ?

Our host, Antonio was so kind, so helpful, and always available! He has a shop next to the apartment so it was easy to find him. He recommended great restaurants nearby and give us useful informations, for example about parking. Also it was an emergency booking, beacause the apartment that I've alread booked and paid was unavailable, so we were so relieved, that we find this little treasure! The room was cleaned every day and we got new towels. Soap, shower gel were included. It has a fridge and an AC, which we didn't have to use in October. The view for the terrace is amazing, you can sea the see and Etna from there, really intimate. There was a supermarket in 20-30 min, and we could reach the railwaystation in 30 mins. You can reach Catania by train 10-15 min. The surroundings are loud, mostly bacause of the cobblestone on the street and the cars honk a lot, as it was predictable for southern Italy - but to be honest, it doesn't really bothered us, we could sleep easily, but it's something to better be avare of.

Antonio, the host, is very charming and provided excellent advice on what to do and where to go. The room is very large, with a view of Mount Etna and the sea from the terrace.

Good location not far to walk to a central piazza where the was a music festival. Rooms clean bed comfortable bathroom excellent overlooked a church square No internet availability took ages to communicate as had to keep switching on roaming with charges. No one came to see us to sort out. No map of town said there was one in room. Just got the impression they could not be bothered with you although the whats app messages kept coming... Up two flights of stairs first wide second very narrow..

This is a great stop for a very reasonable and comfortable stay, the terrace was beautiful! Everything was comfortable and spatious. They give you a code for self-access which makes it less stressful to arrive at a certain time. The host is extremely nice and recommends places. The bathroom was hot but we just opened the windows for circulation.

A great value for money stay - all the essentials we needed couple of nights. Terrace offered great views of the city and Etna. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and clean. Friendly service, with easy communication via WhatsApp. Wasn't much of a problem for me, but bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper - there's not much sound insulation with the next door room, and the air conditioning/heating unit was noisy.

Terrace on the roof noise

The A/C is noisy and the shower leaked a little.
