It is affordable and big rooms, Although I didn’t join others at the bar but it seems cool to meet people there. WiFi is not properly working in 3rd floor., most of the time, they should have another WiFi router there. There is no hot showers in 3rd floor. The receptionist male, can understand but cannot speak English properly

Great staff, help with directions and taxis, laundry on-site. Cleanest hostel in ADD and options for dorm or private at good value. A quiet location, but a bit far to Wally to town. But I would still say the BEST in ADD.

All the staff were friendly and made my stay comfortable.

Everyone here is like family. Most tourists are welcoming and share their experiences Too pricy for a hostel (or could have been because of my booking at last minute). When I wanted to check in there was no one at the gate. I called but didn’t get response. The hot water wasn’t working for one bathroom.

Good place to just jump into Addis. Just could be a bit cleaner in the kitchen area and bathrooms I would say. Beside that I appreciate the stay and favor you’ve shown me there. Thank you!

Everything is amazing! The hosts will welcome you since the beginning and make you feel at home. It is one of the best hostels I have ever been to in terms of meeting people, there is a lot of cool travelers. Dogs are friendly, kitchen is big and rooms are big too. Very convenient area as Bole is a cool place. Very close to the airport.

My pillows in the downstairs private room sucked. Everything else was pretty great except sometimes the dogs will wake you with barky barky bark.

If you plan to stay a month or more it's not very accommodating. They don't give discounts. The food got stolen a lot from the kitchen. Amenities aren't very functional and don't get fixed. I found two bed bugs, but they dealt with it immediately, luckily.
-
I didn't like the barking of dogs at guests(made me freaking scared sometimes) and also dog poop at some places within the property.
-
Not always as clean and organized.
-
Sometimes we experience power off and they don't have a Power Generator or Plant to provide us with electricity

The place was welcoming and had great communal space to encourage people to work, if necessary, or share a cup of tea. There is a very close "bodega" (a two minute walk) to buy water and other necessary goods. It was an atmosphere that encouraged people of all ages to talk and have fun at night. The location was very difficult to find. GPS/Google Maps is necessary to find the place.

? Nice vibe sometimes. Travelers from around the world ? You can buy and eat food prepared by the staff, although I didn't try. I'm gonna be honest; the standards are pretty below the western standards. The place looks pretty rundown with power sockets and wires dangerously coming out the wall and facilities being quite degraded.. The rooms (at least the double ones like the one I had) are alright for some sleep and ... and pretty much that's it. No wardrobe in the room, by the way. I also have to mention, as an advice, that you better stay inside the room, on the bed or something , and keep an eye on your stuff, while the staff is cleaning. Just saying ?. There's also a quite aggressive and loose dog at the propriety. Although, except for one small incident, I had no issues with it (because I know how to deal with dogs), if you are the kind of person who gets nervous around dogs, you gotta be careful as many others mentioned in the reviews! But the most annoying thing was the lack of privacy and the fact that bringing friends at the property is quite discretionary when it comes to allowing them in. One day, at midday, I had a friend coming over and when I tried to go inside the building, the access was strongly denied. Quite aggressively I would say.. And that despite the fact that Another guest, a German girl, had a local friend as well coming over and she was able to have her friend inside the building, in the Living room and pretty much all over ?. Pretty weird as this everywhere else I've been before wasn't a problem at all. I was told I can stay outside, at the bar but there were no drinks at the bar except for some winskey and some strong stuff. Anyway... You better find a better alternative for the same money or for some more bucks where you can enjoy some peace of mind and less restrictions.
