Lovely room with everything we needed. Vasilis was very helpful and gave us details of a laundry nearby as we needed to do some washing. Paid a little extra for a room with sea view balcony and the picture looked like it was an unobscured sea view, but there were buildings partly blocking the view. The taverna that is run by the owner’s son and attached to the accommodation was shut for the season - we booked partly for this so that was disappointing. As it was end of season there was not so much nightlife and we were not located near lots of restaurants.

The property was very clean and the owner was a sweetheart! Very welcoming and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! Before the stay the owner reached out and asked for the time I arrive and if I needed transfer that he could arrange for me. I had rented a car so I didn’t need it, but I thought was very nice of him. There’s AC, smoke alarms, the shower is 10/10, there’s a kitchenette with two hobs, some pots and pans, cutlery, basically anything you would need to cook if you had to. There’s also a first aid kit which I thought was a nice touch (other places didn’t have it). It’s not a double bed, it was two singles placed together. Not sure if they have double beds in other rooms, but you can definitely ask because the owner is so sweet and accommodating!! The beach is LITERALLY 20 feet down the road! His son owns the restaurant next to the property and the food is AMAZING. It’s a beautiful family and community based culture and I loved every single second I spent on that island. We had a fantastic stay at Vasilis Studios in Agia Marina. The host, Vasileios, was incredibly friendly and provided clear explanations. He speaks very good English, which made communication easy. The studio itself was beautiful; recently renovated, with comfortable beds, a great bathroom, and an efficient kitchenette that was fully equipped. The cleanliness was excellent, and the spacious terrace with a sea view was a big plus. The location couldn't have been better: just 30 meters from the beach and equipped with excellent air conditioning. The restaurant owned by Vasileios' son is located directly in front of the studios on the beach. For just €7, you can enjoy two sunbeds and a parasol there. Additionally, there was no noise disturbance, which contributed to a relaxing stay. There was a nice café with a terrace on the corner of the street, and there are plenty of restaurants in the nearby area. It’s truly a wonderful place to stay, and I can recommend it to everyone. I can recommend Vasilis Studios to everyone. If I were to return, I would definitely choose the same accommodation. We had a very pleasant stay! A small tip for improvement: the beach could be managed more commercially. It should be kept clean and leveled daily. The beach service could also be faster and better organized. One idea is to offset the cost of the sunbeds with the drinks and meals you consume, and possibly add more sunbeds.

Clean room, modern design, comfortable bed, wonderful location, polite people, and excellent service. The price was also great. I would most definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

The room had all amenities needed for our stay. It was comfortable and having 2 balconies was great. A big plus is the cleaning service - done every day. The property is located near a bus stop - very convenient for trips to Chania. Many shops nearby for fresh bread etc. The owner is helpful and nice. The view from the balcony is obstructed by chimneys and installations of nearby restaurants. We would have liked if there was an oven in the kitchen.

The structure has too many rules to respect, Also ridiculous. For example, if you make a fire in the room you pay 15.000€. If you get the towel or the sheet dirty, you pay. You pay for everything, even for the most ridiculous things. You can see the rules in the pictures attached. Furthermore, the owner (or the man who gave us the keys) was unpleasant. Update: after the feedback, the structure tried to call me many times, disturbing me during my holiday. Then the owner wrote me a message in a very poor english, insulting me and my girlfriend. I immediately contacted the Booking.com assistance to report it.

The hotel is in a very nice area, right next to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood! This trip was a birthday present for my sister in law and her husband. The reason why I chose to book at Studios Vasillis, was because of the high rating they had gotten on booking. The rating did not suit how the experience for my sister in law really was. The floor was dirty with hair and sand when they arrived. It was hair in the shower as well, which means that they didn’t properly clean after the previous guests. Be aware that there are posters on the door with rules that are not available at booking.com in the description of the room. One of these posters contains a list of fees you have to pay if you “ruin or damage” things in the room. For example that you have to pay for new towels if you spill sunscreen on them. This is a completely normal thing, as you’re obviously staying at a hotel near the beach. I have never heard of such rules in any of the other hotels in agia marina. If you spill sunscreen on the towels, they wash them for you in other hotels. However, both in the description in booking and on the poster it says that cleaning of the room is included. That wouldn’t be right my sister in law and her husband only had their trash taken out. The floors were not cleaned. the owner informed them that the cleaning lady had several days of during their stay and that it was their responsibility to clean the room themselves. As I’ve looked through the reviews again, which I should have done more thoroughly before booking, I can see how the owner responds to bad reviews. No wonder why people don’t inform about the things they are unhappy with until they leave.

We had a really great time at Studios Vasilis! The host was very friendly and attentive, very smooth communication. The studio was modern, spacious and clean, with two balconies - one with an amazing sea view! The room was cleaned daily, and new towels and linens every 3 days. Super close to the beach, and supermarkets/shops just a short walk from the studio. There was also a taverna right in front of the studios, with great food and great service! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back:-) PS: The balcony with sea view is a great place to get engaged at;-) Everything was great:-)

Lovely and very helpful host. Great location next to the beach and nearby supermarket and shops/restaurants. Spacious room with good air con and bathroom facilities, just what we needed for our stay, would highly recommend.

The room was spacious, close to the beach and quiet. We had our room cleaned every morning. The owner was very communicative and always assisted us when we needed help. Recommending the place especially to couples. 10/10 -

Superb

Large apartment with high ceilings, good lighting, kitchen, balcony and air conditioning. Daily cleaning, responsive host. Location in the tourist center, 50m from the sea. It was nothing to worrying about. You can negotiate with the service about the exact cleaning hours, so the accommodation is very flexible and adapts to the client

Very good

Wonderful place, with wonderful location. Near to the beach as well as to the main street. Next to the Vasilis studio you could get the Bus which goes to Chania.
