Thalassa Beach Resort - Adults Only

Nagyon jó helyen lévő szálloda, közvetlenül a parton, sétatávolságra a nyüzsgéstől, éttermektől, de este nyugodt és csendes. A szoba tágas, kényelmes az ágy. Elégedettek voltunk a reggelivel és a szálloda többi szolgáltatásával is: szuper kezelések vannak a Spa részlegen , a medencebár pazar! Vannak napok, mikor élőzene is van este. A személyzet fantasztikus, mindenki kedves és segítőkész. Köszönjük ! Nem volt ilyen. Ha nagyon mondanom kellene valamit, akkor a kávé lehetne jobb a reggelinél.

I liked everything upon arriving after traveling many hours from California. Our room is ready early in the afternoon, we were upgraded without a request to the best room in the hotel and everything was impeccable. NA

The room with pool view was on same level with the pool, balcony was shaded and felt like half a basement, did not feel inviting at all to sit there

The location was great, right on the beach. Complimentary beach sun loungers, plenty of other hotels further up the beach charge. Pool was perfectly chilled, swim up pool bar a great bonus! Manos at the pool bar gave great service! All the hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating. Good spread for breakfast, plenty on offer.

Clean, modern facilities. Excellent service, wonderful warm and professional staff. I enjoyed the entire experience spa, gym restaurant bar and beach. Nothing bad about my visit.

The hotel offered us a room with a seaside view due to it being empty on our arrival, and it was amazing. The rooms themselves are very large and nicely ventilated. The breakfasts had a high variety of both the desserts and appetizers. Everything was delicious. The pool in the hotel was very convenient, as it had a bar attached, and it was also nice to swim in on windy days (when the sea had high tides). The staff were super helpful in organizing transfers for us, and assisting in minor requests. They also offered various options for celebrating our wedding anniversary (we took the spa treatment, and it was sublime). Everything was enjoyable, so there wasn't anything remotely negative about our stay. I guess, one thing is the distance to the nearest airport (Chania), but that can also be a plus, as the neighborhood isn't crowded at all. In fact, one could take the bus to Chania.

Everything ! And they had our room ready at 10am when we arrived after flying all the way from California ( traveling a total of 30 hours)

Loved our stay at Thalassa.Our room was beautiful and so clean. Breakfast was delicious and staff were so helpful, nothing we asked was too much for them! The pool bar was definitely a highlight. The sandy beach was exaxtly what we needed and the wider village was perfect for a summer getaway, loads of bars, restaurants and local shops to choose from. Chania old town was easily accessible with buses and taxis. Absolutely nothing at all, our stay was perfect, looking forward to coming back!

Nice, clean rooms, good pool area, breakfast buffet was good. The receptionist organised mountain bikes for us. You can’t just use the spa whenever you want. You have to book a one hour slot ahead of time and pay EUR 15 per person. Very small sauna and jacuzzi. The dinner at the restaurant was mediocre.

No major complaints at all. The bed was okay though not extremely comfortable. And you can definitely tell the hotel is ready for some upgrades/refreshes a bit...while very clean, it does feel a bit dated.

Excellent service, very kind and helpful staff, delicious food and drinks.

It's in a good place, with nice bar and beach, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast was a bit of everything. When they built it they didn't think about the door placement or its type. Bathroom doors were always wet from the shower, and if you close the bathroom doors a bit stronger, the lock moves and locks the door.

Staff were very helpful. Location on the main street was good and you could walk to other restaurants, shops etc nearby. Parking the hire car outside the hotel was easy too. The food for dinner in the hotel restaurant was OK but not special and possibly not quite worth the money; wine was expensive too. (However the lunch we had at the bar was better.)

Hotel was in a great location, central to both Platanias and Agia Marina. Plenty of bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Bus stop 100m away to Chania. Right on the beach with plenty of sunbeds, no stressful rush in the morning to get a bed! Listening to the sea from your bed is such a treat. Small adult only which added to the relaxed feel. Some evenings there was chilled live music by the pool bar which was a great addition. Super clean, with great attention to detail. The whole team worked so effortlessly hard and genuinely seemed to love their jobs and the hotel. Considering it was coming to the end of the season, they were so welcoming, friendly and seemed very happy to help with anything. Beds were very comfortable and I'm also including the sun beds which were great too! Getting into the sea for a dip was a little challenge without beach shoes due to the slippery rocks as you first entered the sea. It was quite deceiving as the beach was sand, but about 2 metres into the sea were smooth rocks until about 10 metres out. Take or buy beach shoes it made such a difference. Sea was beautifully warm and well worth the effort.

The pool and the swim up bar were particularly great, and the staff were very friendly. The room (a junior suite with sea view) was lovely and very spacious. It’s also in the perfect location for the beach and easy access to lots of lovely beachside restaurants and bars. Not much! The shower temperature could be very temperamental and would change from hot to cold and back again very quickly with no way of controlling it. The lunch restaurant could maybe have done with a few more traditional Greek dishes but it was nice to have an option for lunch on site. Other than that, everything was lovely.

Excellent sized room with balcony overlooking the pool area and views out to the sea. Well equipped and maintained throughout our stay. Pleasant terraced breakfast area with a very good selection of food. Good service throughout and very helpful reception staff. Many pleasant communal areas. Pool area very good and pool bar appreciated as the sun was setting. Excellent hotel overall, perhaps a little far out of Chania itself, but easily accessible by local bus and plenty of areas to stroll locally.

Very clean and comfy room. Great pool, beach and bar.
