My stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas was absolutely incredible. The location truly could not be better — being so close to the Taj Mahal makes the entire experience feel surreal. What I loved the most is that every single room faces the Taj Mahal. You can really tell the hotel thoughtfully designed every room to feel special and unforgettable. The hotel has two restaurants and both were delicious, but Bellevue Restaurant was definitely my favorite. The food was amazing. The property itself is stunning. The pool area is beautiful and every evening they have a live show in front of the pool, which creates such a magical atmosphere after sunset. Everything about this hotel feels luxurious, peaceful, and perfectly curated. What made the experience even more special was the staff. Every single person was EXTREMELY kind, attentive, and helpful — from the team welcoming you at arrival, to the restaurant staff, to the managers. Everyone genuinely makes you feel cared for and welcomed throughout the entire stay, which is something that truly stands out. I absolutely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Agra. It truly makes the Taj Mahal experience even more unforgettable.

Everything about this property was exceptional. The hospitality, attention to detail, and warm welcome made the stay truly unforgettable. The view of the Taj Mahal was breathtaking, the rooms were luxurious and elegant, and the service was beyond five stars. Every staff member made us feel special, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful, classy, and memorable. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Honestly, there was very little to dislike. Everything was handled with great care and professionalism. If anything, I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the property even more.

Worth every penny. Staying at the oberoi is a must as part of your Taj experience. There are certain hotels in the world that offer something unique and sitting on your own balcony overlooking the Taj is something that can’t be replicated anywhere.

This was THE MOST FABULOUS hotel I've stayed in! We had a view of the Taj Mahal from our bathtub and bed. The balcony was huge. We loved having the private dinner on the balcony (DEFINITELY DO THIS!), watching the sunset and looking at the Taj. The hotel has golf carts to take you to the gates of the Taj. We loved the pool facilities. Most importantly, the staff took excellent care of us. They made us feel welcome and right at home. THIS IS A MUST "STAY" IN INDIA!!!

Stunning views of the Taj from our private balcony. Well kept garden, my son loved the pool. Having a private candlelight dinner on the balcony with Taj view was truly memorable. Hospitality was exceptional. The marvelous architecture of the property reminds you of the Mughal times (sends you back a few centuries in time), even though it’s a fairly new property construction about 25 yrs back. Highly recommend! Nothing

A special highlight was the early morning buggy ride at sunrise to the Taj Mahal, with a convenient pickup from the same spot afterward. Highly recommended!

Staying at the Amarvilas has completely modified my conception of hospitality, beauty, and service. Arrived in awe and departed tearing up. It’s all in the details - from everyone knowing your name, to never having to think too hard before getting what you want, to getting warned something might take 10 minutes and getting it in 5 every time. Thank you so much for this experience, I will never forget this place.
