Staff behaviour and breakfast The hot water facility was insufficient during the harsh winter. Having lived in a rural desert region, I understand the struggles Indian people face due to water scarcity. At the hotel, I had to let 2–3 buckets of water go to waste before any hot water came through, and even then, the water was only warm but not hot.

Close to the Hilton Doubletree. Quiet comfortable room. Clean enough. Gave me late checkout. Room size good. All necessary amenities. Smell of disinfectant in the room. A somewhat old and tired feel to the place including the rooms. Not bad value, not a bad place to stay but nothing at all special.

The property was located well and the breakfast spread though limited but was tasty and the staff was supportive and helpful. The service can be improved a bit, but in no way did that take away from a pleasant stay. I had a smooth check-in and check-out and I faced no issues whatsoever during my entire stay, The room size is good and looks new and was clean. The bathroom had the basic toiletries. The property was quite and was safe. I would rate my entire stay 9/10 with no complaints and or issues. I would certainly visit the property again.

The hotel is really great, with all the necessary amenities. It's close to all the main attractions yet ideally located in a quiet area. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant is really nice looking and the food taste incredibly good (special mention to the Poha). The staff is very efficient and welcoming, and thanks again to the manager, Mr Jitendra Kumar, for helping us book our bus tickets for our return trip! I Strongly recommend this place !

An EXCELLENT Hotel in Agra with Superb Value for Money. The Hospitality and Staff al were exceptionally friendly and always very helpful. Mr. Rakesh Kumar needs a special mention which we mentioned in the guest feed back form as well. All kudos to the owner my namesake Mr. Debashis Bhowmik for his excellent property in Agra. The room fridge could have been in working condition. However, we did not bother since we stayed for one night only. The Hot water supply situation needs improvement.

My mother and I stayed at the Taj Pearl Hotel for two nights during our holiday across India. The staff were kind enough to arrange a taxi to pick us up at the train station fairly last minute, and we arrived early but they checked us in straight away. The room was lovely, it was clean, spacious and really well furnished. There was a rooftop pool with panoramic views of Agra, which we were lucky to have private use of for the entire day. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, bringing us kingfisher beers to the poolside and offering to make us food. We did have dinner in the restaurant in the evening which was very nice, it was quiet but we were visiting out of the main holiday season. The staff were very attentive and even the owner stopped by to say hello and ask about our travels and stay. We wanted to visit the Wildlife SOS sanctuaries for elephants and bears whilst in Agra, the Hotel Manager was more than happy to arrange a visit and transport for us on very short notice, contacting the staff at Wildlife SOS directly. I would highly recommend a visit to the Wildlife SOS elephant and bear sanctuaries during your visit to Agra, especially to learn about the Elephant ride trade across Asia, which is a particular problem in Jaipur. It’s about an hour outside Agra, the staff are amazing at both centres and so accommodating, we were educated on the barbaric process undertaken to “tame” an elephant, and the cruelty they’re subjected to in order to perform for our entertainment. Please think twice before taking an elephant ride or any other activity where you engage with the elephant, it’s not natural and it only does the creature harm and maintains the industry, thank you. We would definitely recommend staying at the Taj Pearl Hotel for your trip to Agra, we had a wonderful time and the staff there made all the difference. Thank you!

Outside the city center, in a fairly quiet place - street food and some shops outside. Checkin was fine, we had booked three rooms and were able to change one (had a big window with a view of a wall). Rooms were fairly clean and new, quite comfortable. Small minibar fridge. A/c worked well, wifi worked well. Storage space was OK, cupboard and a couple of drawers. Nice big windows. The rooftop pool is a nice touch. Tiny (6m x 6m ?) with only 4 loungers, the hotel provides towels and you get a nice view of the area. Pool is reasonably clean. Bathrooms are not good. Some design flaw causes water to flow all over the bathroom floor every time you shower (regular Indian bathroom – no separated shower area). Water pressure was sometimes weak, hot water sometimes lukewarm. Had breakfast in the hotel restaurant once, but was not impressed. Fans only, no a/c – the room was hot. The buffet was OK, but not overly so. Some of the rooms had good yellow lighting, a couple had harsh white lights. Storage space was a little lacking.
