The room and the whole hotel are beautiful . . . old stone building full of gorgeous and/or interesting things, it's like staying in an eclectic museum. Our room was big, ceilings sky-high, the bed very comfortable. It's inside the Aigues-Mortes walls very close to everything. Staff cheerful, helpful and unpretentious despite how cool the place is. Wi-fi was nonexistent in our room, probably because of thick stone walls and such; to get a signal, had to go down to one of the sort of lounge rooms. Not a huge chore, beautiful rooms full of comfortable leather furniture, interesting bric-a-brac, some bottles of spirits with glasses for guest use, and a turntable with a bunch of old LPs . . . but still, no wi-fi in our actual room.

Hotel Les Templiers is really a very charming and comfortable hotel. Each room inspires relaxation immersed in the beautiful period architecture of Aigues Mortes, wonderful vintage arts and crafts. The bedrooms, washrooms and public areas are creatively designed and choreographed in the spirit of the place.

Location within the walls of Aiguë Morte. Shower facilities - no curtain and no wall fixture so you had to sit in the bath holding the shower above your head. Air conditioning didn’t work well.
