Great location at a reasonable price. Loved the outdoor common area with pool--beautiful & peaceful. The young staff didn't speak much English but was very friendly & helpful. We were upgraded from a queen size room to king size. And it was a short walk to the scenic malecon (promenade along Lake Chapala) and a 10-15 minute walk to the center of town. This is an older establishment, so our room could have used some sprucing up, e.g., a newer throw rug, paint job, better lighting. Also, our room, "Noche," was right next to the workers' utility room, so there was a bit of noise during the day, though not overwhelming.

The out door patio and cafe was most enjoyable and added to the value of our stay. Delicious food. Really disliked watching a tree trimmer hack the heck out of a tree with a machete. Poor tree! I doubt the tree will survive after all that trauma.

Beautiful and comfortable property with great staff. Full of Mexico’s charms!

An ok place, good to stay for a night. Staff is nice. Hair conditioner smelled terribly bad, no place to hang towels. There was a tub, small one, in the middle of two bedrooms and a bathroom-basically, no doors - Odd, altogether.

The Jardin area was unbelievably beautiful well appointed many sitting areas well kept That the restaurant closed at 3 o’clock. It would’ve been lovely to have had dinner.
