We were in to visit our Uncle for a few days who lives in San Francisco and went to the Hampton Inn in Alameda by the airport, due to how reasonable the price was vs staying in San Francisco…EXCELLENT service, amenities and even though we were near the airport, this was one of the quietest hotels we have stayed at!! The people working there were very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and well maintained. We will definitely look forward to returning.

Booked this hotel last minute without a ton of research. I checked in in the late evening. Front desk person was not super friendly but the process was easy and they had me in my room quickly. They are dog friendly and were good about not charging me the extra fee for my service animal. I ended up in an accessibility room which was bigger than I expected. Nice to have a seating area, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Bathroom was clean and nice. Bed was a spring mattress and was super bouncy but not in a good way. TV had lots of streaming services you could log into if you had an account. The site claimed the rooms were sound proof since it’s near the airport. This was not true but I’m sure it was less noisy than it was outside. The airport has quiet hours so no flights in or out after 10pm and before 7am so it wasn’t too bad during sleeping hours. Breakfast was good. Lots of hot breakfast options (eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffle maker, toast) as well as yogurt, juice and coffee. Parking is $20 per night and didn’t have a ton of spaces. Pool looked like it needed to be cleaned of leaves. Gym looked small. Main lobby and bar looked fine. They had amenities for the dogs and treats at the front desk. Overall I would probably stay here again if the need rises.

Me and my son enjoyed staying in this hotel. It’s very quiet and close to the airport. Breakfast was not all that great .Will definitely go back there again.

Horrible experience. Staff was rude and simply did not care. We were woken up to maids talking to each other across the hallway complaining about how guests leave the rooms dirty and how much they had to clean. I had to step out and ask them to keep it down since our room was in the middle and we could hear everything. Elevator was not working and when it did it was scary, it was making loud noise and vibrating a lot and it felt like it could drop any time. They finally called the elevator guy and the elevators were out of service for hours but guests were not notified and we had to find out the hard way while trying to go down from the third floor with a stroller and two kids. We reported all incidents to the staff and they did not even apologize, they simply did not care. Elevator was under maintenance all around so you had walls with plaster all over the eating area and main areas including hallways. There were tools and constructions materials everywhere. The maintenance crew with their maintenance uniform and full of paint and plaster would casually go up to the breakfast buffet to grab food at the same time as the guests. Don’t get me wrong, they seemed like hard working people and deserve a meal but it just did not look right for that to be the case at prime buffet hour for guests. The entire hotel just seems like it needs better management. It looks neglected and lacks proper management.

Everyone was so nice checking in and checking out was so smooth. I love the breakfast options they had. Other than it being close to the airport, that definitely came in clutch, but as far as that, I would like to have more stuff around like coffee, shops, or things of that nature

My room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The pillows were just the right height, and the bed was comfortable. My stay was a pleasure! Breakfast was great too because there are options for everyone.
