Its a proper hotel, not touristy. I feel its not very welcoming. The corridor have a strong smell of lamb. It has a sma gym. Breakfast is not optional and its mostly carbs. Its 600m from the station which is not near for me. There is no free bottled water in room. Minibar is €3 for 500ml which is expensive. Supermarket only 30cent. Nearest supermarket is abt 500m away. If not becoz i want to visit barolo, i wont stay in Alba.

Calissano is ideally located in Alba, Italy. We had a 10-minute walk from the train station. The staff are very responsive and interested in making your stay comfortable. This was our second stay at the Calissano Residence. We will return on our next trip to Alba, Italy.

Decor was a bit dated, and spent first night without air conditioner as we did not know the windows had to be shut to activate the system.

This is a very well run hotel with attention to details. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very helpful and always there for you. We loved their breakfast. No doubt we will return to this hotel. Nothing not to like

My room was incredibly spacious and well appointed, offering a very comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day right. A huge thank you to the reception staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I arrived very early in the morning, hoping just to drop off my luggage to explore the city, but they went above and beyond by having my room available much sooner than expected. This thoughtful gesture truly made my visit so much more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience and great value. I'll definitely consider staying here again!
