Villa La Meridiana

The hospitality of the family is beyond - we were received wonderfully. Location is excellent, with option to walk to Alba. Lovely to sit by the pool with view over the hills. Breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs from the farm, wonderful spread and cappuccino's made on demand. You sit outside overlooking the courtyard. The luxury of the rooms (beds, bathrooms) is quite standard, but then again, I think this is in line with price and charm of the place.

This villa was truly a highlight of my trip! The gorgeous golden sunsets at the pool, the walk through the vineyards, the lovely breakfasts and hosts were exceptional!! N/a

The villa was absolutely wonderful. It is situated a short walk from Alba and overlooks a beautiful vineyard. Elise and Andrea were wonderful hosts who were kind enough to pick us up from the train station. They offered wonderful winery and restaurant recommendations as well. The breakfast was great. The pool was not open yet (it was too cold in April) but the area surrounding it was very peaceful. We would certainly return again.

Excellent breakfast; we received a room upgrade without asking, which was amazing! An added bonus and extra treat was the wonderful pool. Andrea is an exceptional hosts who answers every question and tends to every guest need. The location has a beautiful view but is a challenging walk to the center because part of it is on a major road. The overall property is a bit dated, and the bees and bugs are prevalent - annoyingly so.

Comfortable and overall a great place to get away. The family that runs this place really cares and it shows throughout the property.

We absolutely LOVED this place! Everything is just perfect: the grounds and facilities are beautiful and spotlessly clean, decor is charming and well though out; the owners are a family and make you feel so welcome. The breakfast buffet is excellent and they had allergy friendly options (lactose free for instance). They are a family friendly place and also have a game room with fussball and pool table. On the grounds there is a lovely swimming pool and best of all: you’re in a country setting but can walk to Alba town centre in minutes! We loved everything

The property is a lovely well-kept gem near Alba city limits without worrying about ZTL plus they had private parking on site. I had the pool to myself one afternoon and it was the most refreshing and tranquil part of our stay in Alba. Simply beautiful. The A/C in the room is strong and cools things down very well for restful night’s sleeping. I highly recommend this property and the hosts for anyone traveling by car to Alba area.

Book now! Villa La Meridiana is exceptional! Located just above Alba (you can walk to town in ten minutes), you are in the best location to explore the gorgeous Langhe wine region. Rooms are airy and spacious with comfy beds. Breakfast is wonderful with local cheese, meat, bread, pastries. Fresh eggs made to order! Best of all is the warm hospitality offered by Elisa and Andrea. They know how to make you feel right at home. Elisa went above and beyond with great restaurant tips. Enjoy a meal at Osteria Italia in San Rocco and don’t miss a glass of wine on La Terrazza da Renza!

Villa La Meridiana is gorgeous, located on a mountain overlooking Alba with vineyards and an orchard. The room where I stayed was large with a modern bathroom, balcony and the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, espresso and cappuccino made to order, fresh fruit, local cheese and bread, eggs and pastries, it was perfect. The owners are the nicest people who provide recommendations for local restaurants and activities.

Everything! Andrea and Elisa are amazing.. very welcoming and helpful. They suggested very good restaurants and also offered delicious breakfast. Location is also perfect with a great view. Nothing :)
