La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque West

Our room was very dark. Only one bedside lamp, no overhead lighting or lamps in the desk area, rendering most of the room useless to conduct any computer work or read. There were no tissues available and when I asked for some I was told "the truck didn't come in." I have stayed in many La Quinta's nationwide and this easily the worst.

Parking was convenient.

The staff was good. The front desk girl in the morning was very respectful and polite. The room itself could use a lot of work. 1st off as soon as i walked in. The smoke detector was off the wall amd on the counter. I let the other front desk girl and she dudmt really care. The shower handle came off as I was getting ready to shower, the pull out bed wasn't even big enough for my 3 and 5 year old to sleep on. It was harder then sleeping on the floor. All the doors leading into the building were not secured (signs say doors "locked" 24/7 for safety)

The hotel showed signs of being a little run down…floors and walls and doors in room showed signs of great wear and tear. Staff very friendly.

If you leave early after booking with Expedia , you will not get a refund for days unused they won’t even check you out early , no matter what Expedia claims , staff says Expedia will say anything to get your money . It’s a shame because I love Expedia and I love Laquinta . Otherwise it was a great place to stay .

Muy buena la atencion

The room smelled very musty/moldy. We were not told that room door handle must be pushed up to enter. Had to go back to check in desk for instructions on how to open the door. Breakfast was most disappointing. Very little waffle batter, no fresh fruit and beverage refrigerator was almost empty. All this within the first 30 minutes of the breakfast serving time.

Dirty Bathroom

Everything was great but rooms don't have fridges or microwaves. The lobby fortunately had a microwave we used but we had to ice our food in the ice bucket and in plastic bags.

It was close to downtown Beds were hard, wasn’t the cleanest

Exceptional

It had a pool and hot tub. The rooms seemed to be quiet. Unfriendly front desk & rude. She didn’t provide directions and had to ask. The place looked very dirty. Full trashcans outside & dirty doors. Unclean pool and hot tub wasn’t working. Elevator was really slow, possible maintenance issues.

Location. Price. Did not resolve issues I had with my room. Did not receive call backs from the manager.

Bad

The key card reset in me 3 times. I had to walk around 3 times to go have key reset. No soap in the room but conditioner only. Water inconsistent in the bathroom. The hotel pretty busy and most of time had to wait more than 15 mins to get help. Room was ok nothing special. Road noise is really bad. There was construction on the road where hotel was at. Had to find alternate routes. Other than that ok at most.

Room was clean and air conditioning was the best. Door to our room was difficult to open and parking was a little worrisome.
