Super 8 by Wyndham Allentown

The hotel was awkward to get into, and the room was stained and had old and worn mattresses. Still, it was mostly quiet and everything was working. The bathroom and some of the sheets had stains, but seemed clean. I did not have a chance to test the WiFi or the breakfast.

Staff are rude. They charged a $50 deposit to change rooms. Housekeeping does do a good job either. Breakfast is very minimal.

The rooms, the lobby, hallways, and other areas of the hotel had a strong cigarette-smoke odor, and the interior of the property felt unusually humid and damp. Combined with the visible deterioration, staining, accumulated dirt and debris, heavily soiled HVAC unit, dirty carpeting, and overall lack of cleanliness. The property felt unsanitary and poorly maintained. I raised my concerns when I arrived and asked to cancel my reservation, but I was told I would be charged a cancellation fee. I then accepted the hotel's offer to move me to another room in an attempt to resolve the issue, but the replacement room was also in unacceptable condition.

This was the most terrible place I have ever seen, nothing was good about this Motel 8. This place should be shut down ASAP. Roaches are in there, the bed had lumps and dents, pillows dirty, Tub had dirt from someone else shower. Garbage in the hallways. Room smelled very bad. No phone, iron or iron board. It's was dirty towels on the floor from the past guest. I booked Online and couldn't get my money back. No real Breakfast Walmart donuts and black coffee. Ice maker was broke too. Oh the Ac was very dirty, but it worked.

The bathroom shower was nasty that we did use it. The room feel moist and musty so I just wanted to leave as fast as we can. But I got what I paid for. Paid cheap got cheap. I won’t recommend this place at all Just the whole place but we had to sleep so place for the night. It wasn’t good at all

On an up side the room was clean and beds were comfortable. This is this second time I booked a Super 8, the other was in Conn. Both were run down and I would never book a Super * hotel again.

We could literally see a mouse hole and where the rodent had chewed the carpeting. The swivel seat had a tear in it. The ice bucket had a crack in it. The refrigerator did not work. There was chewing gum stuck to the side of the nightstand. The room and the entire hotel had a dank scent. I will provide this same review to the property. And we will be seeking a reimbursement from the property. When we complained at checkout, there was no apology at all. He said the only thing he could do is apply a discount if we stayed a second night. Why would I want to stay there again?

To make things exponentially worse, somebody was banging on doors in the middle of the night screaming to be let in. When I called the front desk about it, they basically just told me that if I had a problem I should confront them. HELL NO! When I told her I felt uncomfortable doing that, she hung up on me! SO unprofessional! She did call the police and they began to handle the situation, but by this point it was already 12:00 AM. The police were there for the rest of my stay dealing with multiple unruly guests. I felt like my life was in danger staying at this property. Eventually we just caved and left around 1:30 AM. Spent an hour searching for a new place to stay with no luck. We had to drive over an hour. Didn't get to sleep until 4:00 AM. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They can't even provide something as basic as a clean, quiet, and safe environment.

Actually I took pictures when we got there we did have a smoking room but the bathroom had ashes in the corner the carpets had spots all over them from I don't know what the toilet seat was loose and I asked for a screwdriver and she said someone would come fix it the following day nobody showed up. We were supposed to have continental breakfast which was included in our price and the only thing they had was a pumper with coffee their machine actually didn't work to get regular coffee and the lady at the counter didn't even know if it was decaf coffee or regular coffee that was in the pot the only thing they had for breakfast was too many muffins and creamers for coffee. Their machine to get snacks had little bags and chips the chips got stuck so the lady had to come use the key to get me my chips they didn't have any milk orange juice nothing for breakfast just the one coffee pot that had coffee in it. My husband was handicap which I told the lady at the office and she told me there was an elevator to use to get to our floor but I took a video and we had to go pass her office down to the end of the hallway for the first floor we had to exit that building to go into the other building to get on the elevator to go upstairs then we had to go clear there was a closer route which had like 18 steps buback down the hallway above the office because we had room 204 so we had to take several breaks in between there because my husband also has cancer in both lungs which I told you lady

Nothing The room was very old and dirty, the bath tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, the sheets were dirty and the floor was sticky. Front desk only gave me 2 wash cloths and 3 bath towels for 3 people. The people in the parking lot were sketchy and police were there several times through out the night.

The whole place needs to be taken down I woke up with mice running around on me and the bed.
