Loved the pool, staff, location, breakfast, parking garage. Turning the AC off for cleaning every morning made it too hot. AC was barely sufficient to keep up with the heat and humidity when running on full. Also, pillows were hard, as was the bed. I bought fans to keep cool (hotel didn't have any).

Difficult and expensive to access Cinque Terre walks/ and beaches. although taxi driver friendly and helpful.

Quiet location, enough beds and space at the pool. Breakfast was extensive, not only a croissant and coffee. Great location to visit Cinque Terre (boat from Lerici is a great option), Lucca and La Spezia. Absolutely no space at one of the Bagno's nearby. All beds are reserved for locals/Italian while 50% of the time the beds are not occupied. Make an agreement with one of the bagno's that River Park Guests can reserve a spot. This is actually not a dislike to the hotel but for the whole area.
