New, clean, with everything you need. I got the small one person room, and indeed is small but doesn’t feel claustrophobic at all. The space is used well, the furniture is pretty functional with the space and it was very comfortable with everything you need. Reception is 24h so that’s great in case you need something. A/C worked great. Not a dislike but more like a note for travelers with reduced mobility: it’s an old Amsterdam property, so be prepared for a lot of stairs and no elevator.

Perfect location on the square where there are lots of cafes, restaurants and clubs to choose from. Shops and places of interest are on your doorstep. Nothing

The room was clean and stuff friendly. Good location The smallest room i have ever stayed in. We booked room with a balcony. The balcony was super narrow, not big enough to sit down. The balcony bannister was very low, only reaching our knees and we were on third floor! Not sure how this is allowed from health and safety perspective! Also, the balcony was not exclusively for our use. I was woken up at 1 am by our drunk neighbours who decided to sit outside our window! That meant i didnt feel safe as had two drunk or high on drugs men just ourside our "balcony" door. Couldn't leave the doors open at all due to this issue. There were also ear plugs on the shelf as very noisy at night. Unfortunately for those reason we would not come back. Also not friendly for disabled people or people with mobility issues. Loads of steep stairs.

Hotel is in great location everything in easy walking distance. Room was cosy & spotless with fantastic shower Towels & bed linen fresh & clean. Upgrade to a balcony room for great views over rembrandt square Staff respectful & polite anything you need just ask. We will return to hotel any time we are in Amsterdam.

Good location and clean, but it wasn’t far off from being a hostel. The room was very basic. It was quite central though and did have someone on reception all night. We paid extra for the balcony room, but beware as it’s not a balcony! The doors open, but it’s simply a Juliet balcony, which they need to put on their site, as we paid quite a bit more for this room. Not as advertised

Great location and clean rooms Steep stairs with no lift and some outside noise
-
Nicely renovated, clean, comfortable bed, nice people. There are no breakfast facilities - you get a voucher for the NH hotel around the corner, which fortunately serves an excellent breakfast. The entire hotel is up a long, steep flight of stairs, and the rooms are up another. People with mobility issues would be unable to make this work. My room overlooked the Rembrandtplein and was noisy until very late .. the hotel provides complementary earplugs.
