Breakfast, breakfast, breakfast!

We loved the building, room, lobby. Very clean. Lots of towels. Coffee and tea w/ creamer and sugar so you don't have to rush out for it (this is not the norm in NL, we found). Location next to park, trams, and rental bikes was perfect. Rugs could be steam cleaned inside the room.

The location was handy for many of the museums and was peaceful and pretty. The room was a good size.
-
Great location on a quiet street. The duvet cover was a little too heavy. The air conditioning worked fine but with covers on it was too warm and without the covers too cool. Otherwise the bad was comfortable
-
It was in a good location close to amenities I was in the basement room which was smelly and damp. There were lots of marks on the floor and stains on bathroom
-
Staff was incredible. The room was spacious enough for an 18-year-old and a grandmother who needed some privacy. The hotel is incredibly well located, and easy to access from tram, taxi, or foot. I will stay there again. Nothing really.

Noisy air con, , nothing but towels in bathroom , pretty basic
-
Property was beautiful and suspicious. Conveniently located steps away from the Leidseplein station, Vondelpark, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.

Too old facilities! carpets in the rooms :/
-
Window view blocked due to balcony construction. Bathtub drain was broken but still could use it
-
Location was good. Expensive. The bathroom was ugly and needs some serious updating. They need showers instead of having to climb into a big bathtub.

Location is nice, the bed is comfy and the staff is nice, smiling and helpful. Rooms are big enough. They were helpful in letting my ESA staying with me, respect for this. Everything else! From the entrance some dirty old carpets are ‘greating’ you. All is so old you cannot imagine. The bathroom tiles stained everywhere, sheets had holes in them, windows cannot open so no fresh air, we had no maid service. I honestly never stayed in a hotel so ugly. I have no idea how it can hold 4 stars, it should be closed for renovation asap. Value for money, disaster.

Property location is great. There was no heat in the bathroom with evenings being 40F that was uncomfortable. Construction crews were working on the balcony outside our room beginning at 7:45 am. Not cool. The shower door stopped at the knees and got hot water everywhere.
-
Only one thing - the bed was comfortable. This was not a property commensurate with price. Room was stark, bathroom was poorly maintained with stains in vanity, no water, no tissues, no clock. Breakfast room inadequate for size hotel - lines to get coffee from machine which didn’t dispense properly, poor baked goods.

Breakfast options. Carpeting :/ Price!!!

Great location, and the staff was professional, responsive and helpful. The Breakfast buffet was great! The facilities were nice, but were showing wear and tear. They should refurbish their hotel soon. The price we paid was higher than the facilities warranted.

Location was great Very dated and not kept up with fresh paint and fixtures.

Location. Friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. We reserved two beds and it was confirmed, together with the room (we were confirmed that we would have the Annex room across the street and were instructed on how to get there). But when we arrived we were put in the main building, ground floor next to the kitchen. No separate beds. Room smelled mouldy, mould in the shower, the whole space def needs an upgrade. Staff were incredibly loud, especially the guy working in the kitchen. He didn't stop talking. Staff stood in the hall next to the rooms and socialised super loudly. Esp early in the morning. It was impossible to get a sound night of sleep there. Rooms 16, 17 and 18 --- worst rooms in the hotel. We were compensated the simple breakfast for the trouble, and the staff were friendly. But it just wasn't a pleasant stay at all.
