Everything was clean, clean bedding and a clean shower. There was also showergel and bodywash. Beds were broken, electricity cables were open and definitly unsafe. The windows couldn't open. There was no ventilator, the room was super hot. There are bedlamps but no plugs.

Decent size room Bathroom wasnt connected to room and the beds were extremely small

Nice location, good value The shower handles weren’t on so we got cuts on our hands turning the water on and off. The floor was heated for some reason so the room got really hot if the terrasse doors weren’t open

Staff was very nice; helpful and professional and friendly. Room (and the building in general) were very clean. The bathroom, while somewhat small and without a window, was newly remodeled and very clean as well. The location was good. Our room, unfortunately, was extremely uncomfortable. We had expected a very small/tight space, but it was too small for nightstands, difficult to get in and out of the bed, and the walls were rough with stains and unpainted recent repair work. A built-in “desk” sagged when we put a water bottle on it. We knew there was no air conditioning, but the window in the room would not open far enough to let in cool air (likely for security reasons), and the curtains had to be closed because the window looked directly out on a courtyard accessible by all (ground floor) - closed curtains meant almost no cool air came in through the [barely] opened window. There was a fan but it did nothing to abate the heat. The room was far too hot to sleep comfortably. The price was not really that much lower than other hotels were charging for much better rooms. We learned our lesson about how to pay very close attention to posted photos - the photos on Booking.com never showed anything beyond the headboard and part of the bed, so it was not possible to see exactly what the room looked like or how big it would be. In retrospect, this seems a bit deceptive of management. Nothing was refundable, so we graciously left without any refund and moved to a much more comfortable room in another hotel.

Nice and quiet location, if you just want a decent place to stay and are not worried about facilities etc, you can't go wrong. Pretty basic but for the price no complaints. No toilet or showers in the room

Convenient for museums
