Location, great building, beautiful art. Very nice rooms. The breakfast service was consistently a disaster throughout our stay. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, and every morning there seemed to be a new series of mistakes. Coffee regularly arrived cold, orders were taken incorrectly, dishes were forgotten, and food for the same table would arrive at completely different times. Many guests around us were visibly frustrated and rolling their eyes. It became almost comical because after a few days we knew to expect something to go wrong. On several occasions, someone in our party had to leave for a meeting before their food even arrived. For a hotel of this caliber, the breakfast operation was surprisingly poor and needs serious attention.

Raised to the manager who did a small gesture of a small refund (<5% of total cost) but that doesn’t address the issue properly. - Room was not ready despite coming in at 11pm - reason given was I booked last minute - The front desk staff had attitude and was citing booking last minute as the issue for the room not being ready and was driven by trying to upsell an upgrade vs resolving the situation (which I ended up taking to just move on) - Despite the upgrade, the room I received was the smallest room I have stayed in at the Rosewood to date (stayed over 4 or 5 times) and first room shown did not have any proper windows (had very small blinds/air windows) - To my surprise, there was also a leftover picture frame from the couple before left in the room - I handed this over to the housekeeping staff. There was also a hair comb was left behind in the bathroom. Raises serious concerns around hygiene factors and cleanliness of the property and is very disappointing for a 5 star let alone Rosewood being the/one of the most expensive hotel in AMS to have such issues happen.

Everything was up to a very high standard, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The facilities were excellent, and we had the opportunity to enjoy both a massage and a facial at the spa, which were wonderful. One thing we really appreciated was that they allowed us to use the spa facilities on our departure day, even after we had checked out, since we had a late flight. It was so nice to be able to relax and freshen up before heading to the airport. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again. We were charged for a breakfast that we never had. Although the charge was removed from our bill during checkout, it was still charged to our credit card afterward. We have emailed the hotel several times about the issue, but unfortunately, we have not received a response. We are very disappointed with the lack of communication and hope this matter will be resolved promptly.

Amazing location, a beautiful building and well designer interior that feels premium. The staff are professional and cheerful. Great luxury spa that felt very premium even when a little crowded. The hotel is very new and no signs of wear. The housekeeping needs some work. Room was not cleaned once and we had to bring this up with reception 2 times, also toiletries/tea were not restocked one day.
