The bed is comfortable, most of the time it was calm and quiet inside the hotel and in the neighborhood, the breakfast is tasty and has a good selection, the coffee is excellent, and the staff is helpful.

It was hard to tell from the online pictures of the outside if it was old. It is older, but has been refurbished and it was quite nice on the inside. The breakfasts were amazing with a nice assortment of pastries, fresh scrambled eggs and bacon and juices. The adjoining cafe had really good food too. We would stay there again.

I keep returning to this hotel, it never disappointed me. Clean an good sized rooms, comfortable beds, quiet rooms, sage neighborhood, friendly and helpful staff.

Facilities and room ok. The hotel also has a restaurant and we ate decently. There is a Lidl opposite, which is very convenient. The area is ok, 10 minutes walk from Amstel station, which is both a train and metro station (a few stops to the center). The road to Amstel Station is through an area of blocks of flats, where there were not many people on the street, but it was not unsafe. The road also passes through an underpass, but it is lit at night. The only downside of the accommodation was the creaking of the floor in the room above, it was very loud, meaning it can wake you up from your sleep (we stayed in the rooms without an elevator, which you can get to from the reception). Without it being something insurmountable, it is worth noting that the bathroom door is made of frosted glass.

The property was nice and clean. The restaurant on the premises was great and the breakfasts had everything one would want. The scrambled eggs were made from scratch with real eggs! Lots of other choices. This place is in a quiet neighborhood. There were 5 of us and we used Uber to get around because it was quicker. The staff were all friendly and spoke English well. Highly recommend. We were there for 4 nights.

Nice facilities and quiet spaces Not allowed to check in before 2 pm although the room is ready

There's a large art gallery in the restaurant and in the hotel. Very beautiful. Great room, has everything you need. Very cool, great king-size bed.
-
Amazing hotel in a renovated church (has its own art gallery) and very amazing spaces to explore. The room was comfy and the service was good as well. A bit far from the center but ideal for anyone trying to avoid the big Amsterdam crowds

The location was perfect for our needs and the hotel staff were very helpful. We appreciated having a kitchen with a refrigerator. Our flight arrived earlier than we could check in at the hotel, but our bags were securely stowed for us until our room was ready.

Renovation is very good. Amenities are good especially capsule coffee-machine. A cookware was a little goof surprise. two different pillows are good. Exposition of the replicated famous paintings was awesome. twice the cleaning was not very good

Restaurant stops serving early

We loved the hotel location outside of the congested centrum. It was only a 10 minute walk to catch the metro and a few different tram routes to get to centrum. There was also a bus route with a stop only one block from the hotel. Enjoyed having an efficiency type unit so we could have a bite in the morning before leaving for a day of sightseeing. Bed was very comfortable. We asked for the room to be serviced twice during our 9 night stay. Cleaning was good, but each time we had to ask for toilet paper to be replenished. When the towels were changed out, it did not include a fresh dish towel in the kitchen area.

clean and good breakfast none

very nice hotel I saw a mouth in the breakfast area!
-
Spacious room, fully equipped, very comfy beds, wonderful breakfast, very kind and helpful staff. Everything that someone could ask. Highly recommended.

Overall the breakfast was great but some things were cold (which should have been hotter or at least warm)
-
The room was solid with a kitchenette to allow us to reheat and store food easily. Little grocery market right across the street. The onsite bar was really nice with a great, friendly staff. I guess by staying out further from the city center, the extra city tax and other fees are mainly rolled into the up-front price as opposed to the more central areas. Parking while being 6-8 mins at another hotel away was overall solid. Closest parking is about 6-8 minutes walk.

I had a great stay! Will definitely choose this hotel for my next trip to Amsterdam.
