Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - Sloterdijk Station by IHG

Next door to station, restaurant and supermarket. Exceptionally clean. Amazing view. Breakfast was strangely laid out with milk by cereal and not by coffee machine and not well labelled. Other than that was good.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Sloterdijk Station. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and nicely designed, and the overall experience was excellent. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially at reception and in the breakfast area. A special thank you to **Ramisa and Dominique** for their warm smiles and great service during breakfast — they really made our mornings more enjoyable. The location is also fantastic. The hotel is just steps away from the metro, train station, and intercity bus connections, and you can reach Amsterdam Centraal in about 5 minutes with a direct ride. Having convenience stores and restaurants nearby was another big plus. For us, this hotel was an incredibly good choice, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! One small improvement would be to add insect screens to the windows, as mosquitoes can come in when the windows are opened for fresh air during the summer.

Convenience Alarm going off in the middle of the night and it was my 2nd experience. It was a false alarm

The staff were definitely a highlight of my stay. Everyone I interacted with—from the front desk staff to maintenance, housekeeping, and the breakfast staff—was friendly, helpful, and made a really great impression. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and a big plus as well. I also really liked the shower; although I personally prefer a bathtub, the shower stall was very nicely done with beautiful tiles. There wasn’t much of a view from my room, but that didn’t bother me, especially considering I thought the price was very reasonable for a two-night stay in Amsterdam. The biggest issue for me was the room temperature. There was no phone in the room to easily contact reception, and on my first night I was freezing and couldn’t adjust the centrally controlled temperature enough to make the room comfortable. I was exhausted from travelling and just wanted to shower and sleep, and unfortunately I ended up getting sick afterward, which was disappointing. The staff were very helpful the following day and brought a small heater to my room, which made my second night much more comfortable. I also would have really appreciated having a mini fridge in the room. Adding a phone and mini fridge, and giving guests a little more control over the room temperature, would make the stay much better.

Prime location The staff weren’t that decent, I have asked about the wash basin the drain wasn’t working fine. Before I finish my explanation it self they come to a conclusion and say something without listening full issue.

Perfect location. Just 5 minutes outside the city but just a short train ride. Rooms spacious and confortable Clean and quite Breakfast basic but still filling Nothing

The location is very centrally located near Sloterdijk Station. It is very easy to reach from Sloterdijk Station. Just go out and turn left, walk like 50-100m and ta da! You are arrived in front of the hotel. Breakfast selection could be better :) but it is still OK, and the juice taste more like water.

Bear the station and the festival , the recepcionistas were very kind Nothing, was perfect

Excellent proximity to train station Very little to dislike

Easy parking. Very close to the train station. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok. False fire alarm to evacuate the hotel at 1:30 am and no apologies given.
