Perfect location, right in the center of amsterdam. It was clean and the bed was confortable. The room was right next to the staircase so I could hear everyone arriving or leaving the hostel. There was also construction work starting at 7.30am during my stay.

Don’t book there , no hot water , very bad smell , very messy floors , no cleaning .. nothing
-
Central and very convenient for a short stay
-
Extremely small rooms, with just beds. NOTHING else. Also, walls are made of thin material, you could literally hear every person living next room.

The room, bathroom, and shower were clean. The bed was comfortable. Bedroom door locked. No breakfast, super noisy outside and inside, gross smelling hallways, stained curtains, tiny shower, no lock on outside door to hotel, only one key card per room. All in all, a crummy little hotel. And not a good place for light sleepers.

I liked how clean room service was, beds all done nicely. no charge for stains on towel. nothing, maybe steep stairs

Great location
-
Location nothing else Room not clean, no elavator for the room located upstair, room was too small, stair was too narrow and not stable and made of wood
-
The room for 6 people is like 10 m2 or less. It is so tiny, so uncomfortable. You weren’t able to do anything because of the space. The staff is not amicable.

A bit cold i think the windows are broken
-
Dirry rooms, loud guests and a lot of noise in the hotel. Electrical sockets were hanging out of the walls and the whole hotel smelled like Amsterdam

The staff at the reception was lovely. Mario was welcoming and really helpful. The hotel is not modern but it is comfy and very clean. Even if it is in a busy street, it was incredibly quiet It is really well located too. Very close to everything ( To all the main attractions )

There wasn't anything to be liked about this Hotel. Everything. It shouldn't be called a Hotel in first place. The steep stairs can cause an accident any time. Moreover, the congested place with literally very small bathrooms spoil all the tour. Though it is near the city center, but staying at this hotel is an open attempt to suicide. Never going to stay in this Hotel again, and will recommend others to avoid this hotel.

I was took by the aid because of health problem, when i'm back the next day at 9h so two hour before the check out, the guy told me my reservation was ended because of aid coming to my room. Not professional at all, you're not allowed to be sick in this hotel.

Beds were changed each day & clean towels so i can't complain. The stairway is very steep

Location. Short wlk to train station. Only reason I booked in that area because Damrak is a dirty, crowded pit. This hotel should come with a Health and Safety warning. Although I booked well in advance and although booking.com charged me nearly three times the walk-in rate at the time I arrived, I was given a room on the top floor. There is no lift and no porter. Four stories, 3 glass doors, 66 steps, 70-degree staircases like a gangway on a small boat, gaps in the hand railreplaced by handles. I’m 79 and was carrying 15kg in one hand and 5kg on my back. Amsterdam is known for steep stairs but what really riled me was the ‘help’ offered from the desk: ”You can leave your luggage here and carry them up one at a time.”

Incredible location. Cannot beat the price. LOTs of stairs. Rooms very tight. No AC
-
Location is the only thing good about this property. The room was hot and not cleaned properly. The daily cleaning was not really a cleaning at all. The property needs a major renovation as the rooms are old and need at least to be painted. Water stains on the cieling and never really cleaned properly.
-
24 hour check in , 300 metres from central station, in the heart of restaurants and shopping Stairs to rooms , hot rooms , no fan or airconditioning
-
Nothing It was small and noisy, the people were rude and we were assigned a worst room than the one we paid for
