Our room had a private garden. I just wish they would focus on making it cute. It is not really taking cared of. But it was very nice and made it look bigger. Rooms are very tiny. Clean but no space to open luggages. Receptionist were alright. Not too friendly. Friendly was the French-American bartender from across the street with your welcoming drink after your check in. Super smart guy, a engineer, hard working, focused on his work, handsome and very friendly. Forget to exchange contact just for future conversations. For sure would become I good friend. My family liked him too. Location was good as well. Would come back. No space and cleaning people would come in to the room after one knock. 4 days in a row they just walked in.

We didn’t expect much from our room after reading some reviews, and we knew that it would be a basement/ground level room. We were surprised to find out that it had a terrace and we had access to it. It’s good that the hotel provided ear plugs, as they came in very handy. The reception workers were nice and helpful. We had a kettle and a mini fridge in the room so it was nice. And there was a table on the terrace. One night the neighbors above us had a loud party and it seemed like they are horses running on wooden floors. We did hear the tram, but it wasn’t the loudest sound of all the sounds you can hear in this hotel. The shower cabin door was slightly broken and there was a smell of the sewer in the room each time we entered the room, so it’s good that we had a door to the terrace that we used to ventilate the room. The beds very soft and one single bed was very wonky, although I didn’t had accidents sleeping on it, it felt like a person shouldn’t move much while sitting or laying on it.

The location is excellent, staff is nice and room was clean. The tram noise and shaking made sleeping reallyuncomfortable. I stayed at a basement like room with 2 windows overlooking the street from down below.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the rooms were very clean and well looked after. The staff were also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely stay here again.

Good central location, near Leidseplein. Good AC which was essential in July 26. Better room then anticipated. Or ground floor room was very noisy, even with earplugs supplied. Not traffic, more loud inconsiderate morons at 3am. Curtain fell down and lights weren't working but both fixed on request.

Great location and friendly staff. A bit confusing to find the right building at first.

The room had everything we needed for a two night stay in Amsterdam. It was cosy and approximately 20 minute walk into the city centre but also had a lot going on around it as well as in shops, bars and restaurants. Basic but as to be expected with the price being a lot cheaper than other places in Amsterdam. Would stay again.

Paid more for what looked like a nice room. Ended up in a Cellar room with single glazed windows onto street. Noise from tram vibrations and people was very loud. Room was very cold and air-conditioning seemed to not be working. General appearance was that of a hostel rather than a nicer hotel. I'm sure there are nicer rooms, we just didn't get one. Bathroom was the only thing that looked like the listing. (Maybe not the best sign when earplugs are supplied - I visit Amsterdam regularly for work and am accommodating when it comes to city noise but this seemed disproportionate.

Good location and had facilities needed Did feel quite basic. Ground floor room meant it was very noisy at night next to the road. Hard to sleep and weird room layout

The room was smaller than expected, and we had anticipated a bit more space. We were also not informed in advance that the room was located below ground level, which would have been useful to know before arrival. The room itself appeared clean; however, during our stay we experienced several bites on our arms that were concerning and resembled possible bed bug bites. We reported this to the reception. We do not have direct proof beyond the bites, but we felt it was important to mention our experience We did like the location, it was close to everything
