The rooms are very noisy. The smell of the wood is very strong. It doesn’t smell really clean

The girl at the front desk was great. Very helpful and kind. Bed bugs. Sticky floor. Fight in hotel when we were there. I guy was beating up a girl in the bathroom during a concert downstairs. Water not contained in the shower and spilled out from the shower door towards the toilet.

Cool place Our fan was broken

The location was great, the bus line was walkable from where the hotel was. The room I stayed in was spacious enough for me (I'm 4,10). Food and staff at the restaurant and front desk were super nice. They had things to do there at the hotel like events but I wasn't feeling social that week to go. However the music sounded fun and lively when I passed by. You could hear what was happening in the rooms adjacent and above you. Which didn't bother me because I've always lived in an apartment complex and such, but I know that could be a problem for someone else. Also the shower was not efficient there was absolutely no threshold or like the water seal on the glass door to keep the water from spilling out onto the floor. The water did get hot though so it wasn't too bad I just had to point the water to the corner.

    rooms small. mattresses very soft

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

Cafe was an awesome place to hang the two mattresses pushed together was not that great. U should have asked to separate them after my first night because I would wake with be lying g in the middle of bed frame and mattresses on either side of me.

Great room for the value. We stayed 1 night. It's nearby Muiderpoort train station so we could easily walk to the hotel. It is also within an outdoor shopping center so close by to a grocery store, clothing stores, bakeries etc. We also purchased a day pass for the trams/bus system so we could easily get around the city. The room did not have air conditioning. However they did provide multiple large fans (we were a corner room) so those were appreciated and helped us through the night. The room was a maze to find throughout the corridors, if there was an emergency I feel it would be difficult to make your way out.

I was surprised the room didn't provide shampoo / conditioner. The TV nor the AC in the room worked so we had to keep the windows open. But since it's summer, people were handing out in the courtyard until past midnight which made it hard to sleep with the noise.

It was really dirty and simple, the bathroom sink wasn’t in the bathroom which honestly I don’t understand why they planned it like that, pictures were completely different from what it really is, in addition to that they do have to pay more attention to detail such as… painting the walls (it was all dirty), cleaning the bathroom better and adding at least a bedside table.

Location was good, room was a good size, the lobbies around the rooms for chilling were a nice touch, everything was very clean, bedding was cozy, and it was nice to have drinks, food, grocery, entertainment etc convenient on and off property. Very good deal. Beds were pretty uncomfortable with the mattress/platform combo we had (everything is quite industrial, cement floors, spare furniture etc; only a problem if it is for you, just a thing to know). I was prepared for the neighborhood to have outdoor noise, I live in an active urban neighborhood with lots of late-night clubs and that wouldn’t bother me, and we were there at a time of year for shut windows anyway. I wasn’t prepared for how much noise there was from INSIDE the hotel. There is basically no noise abatement from the halls, and the nature of this place is that people are coming in at all hours. Everyone was quite respectful, but even so, the sounds of motion and doors opening and closing sounded like it was in your room. And if it had been a busier set of nights with rowdier shows it could have been MUCH worse with more excited folks. Also, for some reason the door lock screamed at you every time you opened it from the inside like an alarm? No way to quietly exit if your roommate wanted to rest, and another problem from other rooms.

Small cozy but good lots of walking to get to room

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

I loved the located and the cafe! The bathroom lighting was super low, and it smelt a little sewage like too

Location is good with many options to shopping. Ambiance is great both indoors and outdoor. Hotel is also a part of a musical construct. Public pianos were nice. If only the room had hairdryer

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

Simple cozy little room, very close to nice little plaza and shops Very inconvenient and non accommodating check-in time, strictly between 3 and 10pm and not option to get stored bags if checking in past 10pm. This kind of ruins an afternoon and evening in the city. Especially that the price is exorbitant for what you get (but everywhere is expensive in Amsterdam).
