I felt the price was a bit high and I never got the television to work. I don’t think there were any channels.

On check-out, the staff weren't willing to accommodate our request for just one extra hour, which we needed as our train didn't leave until 1pm. I have no problem with hotel policies, but the receptionist was rude in how he handled my request. On Friday morning I also asked for the main shower head to be repaired as it wasn't working, but nothing was done and I never received any update. For what we paid, this fell short of what I'd expect.

Loved the location and modern vibe! Friendly staff. Quite expensive.

Location was great! Close to metro and easy walk to museums. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The design was very nice— what I call casually elegant. The rooms are very dark. The surfaces in bathroom are black. The lighting is quite contemporary and stunning with pinhole recessed lights, but while being dramatic, is spotty and with the dark surfaces, difficult to see. Applying makeup and shaving are challenging. The “bathroom” is comprised of a water closet with door, shower with door, and a sink which floats on a partial wall to the bed area. For a single person, this is great. It does not, however, give two people much privacy or noise diffusion. Lastly, the dining and bar area gets very busy in the evening. The bar requires reservations. If you are staying at the hotel, you cannot just pop down to the bar for a drink. Having a second bar that does not require reservations might help the guests enjoy the hotel more.

Centrally located - close to seeing sights and very close to the metro. But a serene neighborhood with many eating options. Very modern but relaxed. Exceptional staff! Lobby is a little small.

No problem with the hotel… the hotel had an issue with my insence stick in the room (I use it to meditate) and the front desk told me it was prohibited because of fire hazard but I never left the flame burning i always use water to douse the stick before leaving but just so you know… also (and this has NOTHING to do with the hotel but with BOOKING) please be advised that offers can change on a “booking whim”.. I purchased the hotel because it included a to and from taxi service to the airport (free shuttle service if reservation was higher than 400€ and no more than 3 passengers ) and after the purchase this shuttle service was denied because my reservation was above 800€ and we were 2 passengers…. We contacted booking and we are still waiting on a response….

The hotel is quite well located, with public transport stops not too far away. - My room, No. 112, is modernly furnished. It has a coffee machine. The mattress is comfortable, the pillows are pleasant, and so is the duvet. - The bathroom is well equipped, though towel holders are missing. The air conditioning was extremely disruptive. - On the first night, it was noisy and set to an uncomfortably low temperature. - The next day, I complained, and I was informed that it could only be adjusted centrally. - In the evening, it was then noisy and set to 27°C. The night staff couldn't properly adjust it. I slept exceptionally poorly that night. - The following day, the air conditioning was turned off, but the ventilation remained bothersome. - Due to the poor sleep, I was not well-prepared for the conference I attended. - I cannot recommend Room No. 112. - The staff left a card with two smiley faces and apologized, but in such a case, I would expect monetary compensation. - Although the hotel curtains do block out light, they are not attached to the walls at the edges, so proper darkening is not possible.
