Ayres Hotel Anaheim

The front desk staff were nice and accommodating. The room was clean and it was nice that there was a microwave and a mini fridge in the room. The breakfast was delicious and the chef was so nice and funny. I told my husband we have to come back and stay here again!

Location is great for the train and an Angel’s game.

We have been staying here since my daughter started Chapman University in 2024. We’re from San Francisco and this is the only hotel I book when we visit Orange County. It’s perfectly close to the school and a lot food and shopping places and especially Disneyland. It’s awesome that they give Chapman families room discounts which is a plus!

Hotel common areas and rooms are clean. The decor and furniture are a bit dated but they are clean. Breakfast was much better than most 3 stars hotel we’d stayed in. Would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel is a gem and in such a convenient location. There is beautiful old furniture pieces and old photos that really showcase the authenticity of this hotel. The rooms are clean, the included breakfast is above average, the staff is helpful. We will come back and stay again for sure.

Like the classic decor. Well maintained and clean. Breakfast was a bonus. Would stay again.

Very well managed, clean, well maintained. Excellent free breakfast including great cooked to order pancakes and eggs! Easy drive to Disneyland

Return customer. Great location if you travel by Metrolink, and proximity to Angels baseball excellent. Will be back.

Exceptional

The property was clean and had a good breakfast. Staff was friendly. The bed was too uncomfortable for me . It was too hard . My back was hurting in the morning.

The hotel is comfortable and well-maintained, and there is a big breakfast but they are severely lacking in gluten free options. The potatoes were not gluten free and there were no gf bread options. The cook in the breakfast room didn’t even know what gluten is or where to find it so I had to ask to read the boxes of the foods. A gluten free muffin would have been nice with my eggs. Or some oatmeal.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful and the breakfast was really good fresh eggs pancakes. etc

Only complaints were that one of the night there was a small dried streak of blood on our linen, and there was a cockroach in our room toward the last day

My stay was great, staff were friendly, breakfast was great! I would absolutely recommend to stay. The later check out time came with a hefty price.
