Little Boy Blue Motel

As expected with a budget motel, you get what you pay for. Parking was limited, and there were times when cars were double-parked or people were working on their vehicles and hanging out in the parking lot. I also noticed some guests who appeared to be staying long-term, with multiple people frequently coming in and out of certain rooms. While I never personally had an incident, some of this activity did make me feel a little uncomfortable about my safety at times. There were also a few issues with the room. Our key cards stopped working multiple times, which meant having to go to the front desk almost every day to have them reactivated. The A/C also seemed to have only one setting—cold. No matter how we adjusted the temperature, it would continue blowing cold air and cycle on and off rather than maintaining a consistent temperature. The bathroom was clean and we had no plumbing issues. The refrigerator and microwave were basic but worked well and were convenient to have. Unfortunately, we did find some hair on the pillow and bedsheets when we arrived, along with a few stains, so the cleanliness could have been better. Our stay at little boy blue motel: When we arrived the room was filthy- roaches crawling around, mold, bathroom had exposed wiring, shower head was covered in grime, cigarette burns all over furniture, sheets were stained, and the room smelled of cigarettes. Went down to the front desk and asked to be fully refunded for those reasons and they agreed- said they would send the refund... no refund seen yet

i love its so close to disneyland and next toy story parking lot so the shuttle take you to disneyland and is across street garden walk mall. So many things around it staff was friendly and nice and clean room everyday and even folded our blankets and always had towels for us and it was quiet place the ac was good blasted cold air it was hot weekend free parking it plus had enough parking spots

Room was warm and musty. Had the smell that there was mold somewhere, the smell got worse when we turned the ac/fan on but had to keep it running because the air was so stale. Door to the bathroom was very difficult to open and close. Bottom hinge of the door wasn’t even secure. When taking a shower the drain system is plugged because the water rose as I was showering, rose as high as my ankles. TV also didn’t work. It would turn on but there were no channels….no point in even having a tv in the room and advertising that it was there if it isn’t going to work properly. Will not stay here again.

This is a great value for this park. I love the inkeeper She knows me by name I stay here a lot. It's quirky and old and right next to Disneyland Park and Ride. I like it I stay there every other month when I come to Anaheim.

Location: The location is a very safe and easy walk to Disneyland. It took our family 15 minutes to walk there. It is also close to many restaurants and within two miles of two good grocery stores. Affordability: The nightly fee for the room was affordable for our family. The location also allowed us to not need to pay an additional fee for parking at the park or taking a shuttle. Refrigerator and microwave: I appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room so we could store prepare simple breakfasts ourselves before heading to the park instead of paying for a restaurant. Maid service during the day: The maid service was helpful during the days that we stayed - our room always looked tidy, our trash replaced, and towels were replaced. Effective air conditioner: The room had an effective air conditioner that kept us comfortable during the summer nights. My biggest issue was that the windows did not have blackout curtains - trying to nap during the day or sleeping past sunrise at 6:00 was impossible. We chose a close hotel to Disneyland to give us the option of coming back and napping for an hour in the day, but the room was too bright. Needs a deep clean: There was a concerning amount of dust built up on the walls, shutter blinds, and television. The area near the bathroom door and air conditioner smelled like urine for the entire stay. Missing some key things for families: The refrigerator did not have any small freezer section in it. The bathroom had almost no counter space for multiple people to get ready in the morning. The room lacked outlets for charging devices. The tub also didn't have a plug on the drain, so our young son couldn't take a bath without us creating a drain plug from a candy wrapper bag and a water bottle. Although a pool was advertised, it was rundown with no umbrellas or area for shade, so our child chose to stop swimming after a few minutes because he was uncomfortable.

No simple amenities besides some pouches of soap, The toilet and shower did not work well and almost plugs to be found which is important when on the road these days. Very very basic and dated.

Room was clean but definitely outdated and needs a lot of repair our window had a giant sharp crack, the shutters did not close all the way. Definitely not enough outlets in the room and the furniture was all old and falling apart. The shower the soap shelf was broken. Toilet was not properly bolted to the ground almost fell off the toilet multiple times because the whole thing shook and moved when you sat on it. Towels were toddler sized and no top lock on the door so my toddler kept opening the doors and leaving the room. The bathroom door doesn’t close correctly the door is like too big for the doorframe. Had to be posed hard to open and close. Had a bath tub but did not have a way to stop the bathtub from draining so my toddlers had to quickly wash in the bath. Needs a lot of repairs and updating by professionals but I guess you get what you pay for. Was very cheap to stay and walking distance.

Free parking but the water in the hotel had a bad smell. So that was concerning

Location and price The room was very dusty, the bed was not the most comfortable it was very firm.

NEGATIVE: The beds have a metal frame that buckles and makes a loud banging noise every time you sit or move in the bed. Terrible!!! There are all sorts rocking up during the night with no care for others. The property owners won’t approach as they said they get bad reviews otherwise. So the rest of us are forced to listen to the carryon all night. Apparently our reviews don’t matter… Honestly the worst, most unsavoury hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The owners are nice but we are there to sleep and for 4 nights we didn’t get that. Never again.
