Cabins were beautiful. First room was way too small. Area and property was great.
-
Staff at front desk seemed hurried. Waited a long while for room to be cleaned. Towels and trash in halls.

Second night moved to a bigger room, much better but looked like wallpaper was painted over and huge parts were loose. Second night there was a young man at the desk and he is the one that kindly moved me to a different room. Rooms were clean. Unhappy with first tiny room. Old and very depressing. Young woman who checked me in was not very pleasant. Thought I would be able to have dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, however, all they had was a buffet. I don't eat enough to pay almost $20. I don't eat from buffets. Don't know what the rooms are like in the newer section. Parking was not close.

Some of the food inside got expensive
-
No room service during our stay. Cleanliness lacking. Need better food options.
-
We paid for cabin but no cabin due to power outage.no compensation for that. The buffet was bad...too much money for what they offered.
-
Lots to do!
-
Close to town Not the best food in the restaurant, noisy .
-
It's outdated and could use a little help but for the price I wouldnt complain too much about it.

Pool and beach Long walk to rooms. Elevators down game room mostly not working. Buffet was awful!! Almost rude staff at cafe’ dirty floors throughout

The lake is nice. The parking is good. Some staff is nice. Been coming here for 40 years and every year lately it is getting worse and worse. Hall ways weren't cleaned i dont think ever, garbage bags were left in hallways for long periods of time. A main elevator was broken 2 years in a row. The shower never stopped dripping. The toilet was loose. A brick sidewalk just outside a main beach entrance door was partially collapsed right outside the door causing a major trip and handicap hazard. That same door was very hard to open. Carpets are very old and worn, peeling up everywhere. The room carpet was gross to step on barefoot. The arcade room used to be the same games for years and they finally are changed, however they only take dollars, no more coins. There is no machine to get dollars from if you dont have any, you have to go all the way to front desk. A couple games didnt even work. There's a ping ping table but no balls. A few vending machines take cash, coins or a card which is nice, but a vending machine by the arcade wouldn't even take my dollar. Which is good because its $3 for a snickers. The entrance price to the park just keeps increasing and is now $15 just to get in, even if you have a reservation. Want a park map? Used to be free. Now its a buck. Everything just costs more and more and they give you less and less. The restaurant on property could be a gold mine, however it has been poorly run for YEARS. Lot of buffets, one night said the only dinner being served was tacos. The sand volleyball courts used to be nice, now the nets that keep the ball from going into the woods is torn and half the height it used to be. The nets are worn and torn. The court boundary ropes are all torn up and useless. There are sticks all over the sand edges which hurt like hell if you merely step out of bounds. The only reason we continue to go is for a 50 year long history of family reunions here but its time for a change..

I didn't stay because the bed was a full single and I had requested two beds for myself and my daughter. The room was very small and the wifi extremely slow. We moved to another hotel and did not receive a refund.
-
Beautiful setting. Price was reasonable. The property is rundown. The building and room had a musty smell.
-
Hot tub was fantastic, the grounds and scenery was phenomenal. Their restaurant is horrible and the staff running it is worse. No refrigerator or microwave in room you have to ask for one and then they charge you $10?a night for each
-
The location Old, outdated, dirty, smelled of mildew.
-
The room was disgusting, very run down. Walls and ceiling looked to have damage everywhere. Needs updated and cleaned. Furniture was old snd fslling apart. Never stayed the night, we left. Never again will I book.
-
View amenities Dirty ceiling intake. Dirty ceiling lamp

The property was very clean and well maintained. The cabins have very little privacy, we literally had to listen to the couple in the next room having inanimate encounter most of the night as if they were in the same room. There are no ice machines anywhere near the cabins, you either have to drive/walk all the way to the main hotel.

Scenery is fantastic access to a beach and hiking trails is right there on site. Absolutely love taking our annual trip here.
