Pied Dans L’eau Holiday Apartments

The apartments are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of natural light. The kitchen is a bit modestly equipped, but it has great potential, with a small investment it could be even more functional, though in its current state it’s still perfectly usable for basic needs. The view from the terrace is absolutely fantastic. Overall, Pieds Dans L’Eau Holiday Apartments is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a real seaside escape, calm surroundings, beauty, and direct access to nature. I would return without hesitation.

The kitchen could use a few more items. There are only 2 sets of plates and cups, which was okay for us as we didn't cook often. Also, the stove was a bit tricky to figure out as all the symbols have been washed away.

Nothing really

Perfect location at the beachfront, private garden at the beach with big trees. Outdoor shower in the garden after beach visit. Shops and restaurants very near. Nice balcony with nice view. Quite spacious room. Not that much information about what to do like some tours etc. Some of the lights in the room didn't worked, the bulbs were missing.

Right on the beach.canoes, Great large rooms. Local shops. Parking. Staff. All very very good Kitchen needs upgrade. Signs of woodworm sadly.

Very pleasant location. Somewhat overpriced compared to our previous apartment which probably has something to do with my wife and I being the only occupants. Rather musty smell in the public areas and a slightly complicated access via digital lock and more keys to get to the beach if occupying one of the upstairs apartments. We were without hot water for the duration of our stay and had to use the next door apartment for showering as well as boiling the kettle for hot water to wash dishes, etc.

Well located, many business around. And more if are a good discoverer Waking up with sea view Sleeping on sea noise Dogs around are very lovely and friendly they welcome us every day

Location is great, beach and shops, bank, restaurants right there. Big apartment, good linen and towels, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed staying on ground floor, lovely patio area outside, beach beds and kayaks available. Snorkeling spots short swim away. Apartment needs renovating-deep clean or new paint would be great. Hot water in the shower was on/off, so worked a bit strange. And definitely needs new dishes and cups, current ones were stained, washing in hot water didn’t even help. The entrance hall where the kayaks are kept smelled bad.

The place is all about the location. Loved it! Some of the equipment is a bit outdated. Otherwise everything is fine, great value for money.

The apartment has a very nice view and is located right on the beach. It's very close to the pharmacy, the money exchange kiosk, shops, the beach bar, the bus stop, police station and restaurants. The facilities have a private parking spot. The people were very kind and hospitable, always available through WhatsApp. In the room we found a leaflet containing all the information about interesting cultural sites, activities, shops, etc. /

Location is perfect. Right on the beach, fenced propertie so good with staying with children, direct access to beach, closed parking lot for the rental car. Apartments were big and spacious although a bit dated and most of the apartments had AC only in bedroom. Several stores, tale aways, bank, hospital, etc right nearby. All you need for cooking was also there. 2 kayaks for the use of the guests. Living rooms did not have AC. Luckyly the only apartment that had it was ours. Furniture was a bit old but the bed mattresses and sheets were clean and compfy.

Great location..! Beach, super market, beach restaurants, Takamaka distillery... all were very close to the Hotal and made my stay a little easy & relaxing. Going to beach was just getting out of your room and you are on the beach. They provide kayaks for free as well. Soul is a very hospitable host and he also gave an extension of late check out for no extra cost. Everything was perfect and liked the stay

Nestled right by the water's edge, the apartments offer breathtaking panoramic views of the azure Indian Ocean. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves and enjoying a cup of coffee on the private terrasse overlooking the crystalline waters became a cherished daily ritual. Saul is a great host and he offered us all the insights about the neighborhood. -

Good location at Anse Royale Beach, bus stop amd the shop. Market with fresh fruits 1 minute walk. The staff-perfect, very helpfull and very nice Everything was super?

Superb

The host wasn't always available, but was flexible when needed and accommodating for an early check in. He was a pleasant, friendly man. The apartment was clean overall and had ample facilities. Right on Anse Royal beach, which is a very nice beach for families and good for snorkeling. Cafe Kreole is within a 1-2min walk and was the best restaurant we tried of many on Mahé (besides the Lunchbox takeaway). Such a lovely atmosphere and excellent food! That is a bonus. The area on surrounding the apartment isn't particularly nice, but ok. There is a keypad entry to get inside, as there is not always someone at reception. Bring your own shampoo, body soap, hairdryer, and paper towels. Safe was there, but had no batteries. We prefer waterproof barriers on the pillows and very clean pillows, but we are picky. You could bring your own pillow. There was a lot of fragrance sprayed in the place, perhaps to cover a slight sewage smell in the bathroom. Bathroom was quite dark. We also expected to have a beach facing unit, and this did face the beach, but from the corner only. Contact the property to ask which unit you will get so there are no surprises. We had the Cosmoledo room.
