The staff is amazing. Location is prime in old town. Unfortunately, for two nights there were wedding parties outdoors with loud music till after midnight. Sound isolation from wedding parties as well as from street is very bad. Room door and windows cannot block any sound from outside.

The hotel is located int he heart of the old historic part of the city so you will have to walk a little from where ever your taxi drops you. The old stone streets are quite smooth though near the hotel. The pool is lovely, the building is historic and beautifully renovated. Walkable to shops, restaurants and more! The ruins under the hotel are SO cool. We asked to see them and someone showed us around and told us a bit about them.

1. Excellent location - Kaleici old town. 2. Good breakfast spread - especially the salads 3. Quiet and soothing atmosphere. 1. No blankets provided after repeated requests - even though it was summer (air conditioning was necessary and we were travelling with a 6 month old baby). 2. Door lock was not working properly 3. No kettle / coffee sachets / tea bags in the room 4. Poor mini bar - just two small bottles of water for 2 entire nights! Had to buy water bottle from outside 5. Defective Overhead shower - too bad (water jet was painful and flow of stream was thin) 6. Defective Hand shower - was leaking all over the place!

The rooms could be updated. The antique stuff was fine but overall it just seemed a bit worn and dated. And the bed is too small for the room.

No hot water phones not working

I had a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, and my room was lovely, with a fantastic view of the beautiful pool and garden. I loved that I could open up my entire room during the day with sliding glass doors to bring the outdoors in. I am an early riser, so I would have liked a coffee pot in my room, since breakfast didn't start until 8 am. I also would have liked more choices at breakfast.

The location is great for exploring the old city. There was music playing pretty late on Saturday night, not sure the source.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and great breakfast in a perfect location. Good swimming pool and a beautiful restaurant patio around it. Bonus: you can get a tour of ancient ruins right underneath the hotel if you ask at the reception. Small things need improving but they didn’t bother us enough not to return for another stay

best hotel ive ever stayed in the breckfast was amazing and service was 10/10!

Yousef was great, very helpful. Museum under the hotel is an added bonus. Hotel and grounds super clean. Great breakfast. Right in the heart of the old city, fantastic location. Room size is generous. Good size pool. Would recommend staying here. Be prepared for a bit of night time noise, windows not really soundproof.

Very good

Great location, beautiful surroundings and well looked after premises. Good service and lovely room. The pool was advertised in the website as “heated” but this was April and it wasn’t, which made the swimming experience less enjoyable.

The staff was very nice : receptionists, waiters, cleaning staff. We liked the size of the room which had large wardrobes with plenty of storing space and a well equiped bathroom. We very much enjoyed the swimming pool area (the temperature was okay for a mid-April swim). The garden around it is well maintained. We were happy to come back to the hotel after a long day walking in the city. It felt like an oasis. The breakfast taken inside a pleasant room has something for every taste. We liked the different yogurts and fruits. The room was dark and pulling the heavy curtains up would mean being almost face to face with the window of another hotel. Changing the type of curtains would certainly help. We always needed to turn the lights on, which is a pity.

Friendly staff, a really good breakfast and the Museum beneath the Hotel is a real treat.

Every thing you would want in a hotel, relaxed vibe, lovely big rooms, pool to chill around and right in the heart of the old town and luna Gardens. Do visit the other side of the tram lines as well. Superb city

The staff was generous, helpful, and always around. The resident cats were sweet as well:) The hotel has the charm of a guesthouse but much better facilities and room quality. Loved the duvets and bathrobes, and tea and coffee from the poolside bar while we basked in the sunshine. Pool was too cool for swimming (we tried!) but really appreciated that it was well-maintained and a lovely centerpiece to the courtyard. We were really delighted with this accommodation. I commend the hotel and staff for offering a beautiful, tasteful, well-run, and personalized hotel experience in the heart of the city. Antalya was even more lovely than expected (the mountain views and clear green sea), and RuinAdalia Hotel was just steps from these stunning views and gave us the perfect base from which to explore. We were unlucky and hit a cool patch of weather for a couple days, so the pool was icy cold...but that isn't the hotel's fault. On the upside, our room's heat system worked well (was a little loud but very effective). Our bathroom was a little small and could stand for some minor repairs (you can see where plumbing leaks have stained the wallpaper, for example) but these things are difficult to maintain in restored historic buildings, so I think one has to expect a bit of that in a place with any amount of character! Room faced a relatively quiet alley, but old town is generally noisy at night (almost anywhere you stay) so earplugs are helpful for lighter sleepers. Even with a local driver the hotel was a difficult for the taxi to locate by night—best to have the hotel phone number handy, and know that the hotel is adjacent to Sefa Hamami (a much more well-known location, a historic Turkish bath house).

The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice to choose from on the buffet, in a nice restaurant with stylish decorations.

The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel's location was excellent, situated near numerous shops and in the heart of the old town, making it perfect for exploring. The baths were not thoroughly cleaned between uses. Additionally, the TV could offer more English channels for greater convenience.
