Alp Pasa Hotel - Special Class

I loved the location of the hotel and staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The bathroom needs attention, the toilet and shower was leaking water. We had a big cockroach on our wall the first night and it was not pleasant. I hope the owner pays more attention to this beautiful hotel and renovate it. Cleaner bathroom and the cleaning person change the towels every day instead of folding the used one.

The best thing about this hotel is its central location. The staff was also friendly and helpful. They checked the air conditioning when we reported an issue, provided what we requested, and kindly helped carry our luggage to the top floor since there is no elevator. Breakfast was okay, with variety of things Unfortunately, the hotel does not look like the photos. It appears much more modern online, while in reality it feels outdated and poorly maintained. The windows and balcony were dirty, the bathroom smelled strongly of bleach, and the toiletries consisted of a single dispenser for both hair and body wash. The minibar was almost empty, and we found a yellow stain on the mattress cover, which raised concerns about cleanliness. The extra blanket provided was thin and uncomfortable. We appreciated the room upgrade, but considering the condition of the upgraded room, we cannot imagine what the standard rooms are like.

Location was amazing The property itself is undeniably beautiful — the architecture and landscaping are genuinely lovely, and the location is hard to beat. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of what we expected, particularly given the hotel’s positioning as a “Special Class” property. Check-in & Service We arrived at the designated check-in time of 2:00 PM and waited nearly 40 minutes in the courtyard for our room to be ready. During that wait, we were not offered so much as a glass of tea — a basic gesture of hospitality that is standard practice throughout Turkey. When our room was finally ready, staff rushed us through without any meaningful orientation to the property. The Room Bags were carried up, which we appreciated. What we found in the room, however, was deeply disappointing. The bed was extremely hard. For a king-size bed, there was only one fitted sheet — no top sheet. The blanket provided was sized for a twin bed and had been stuffed in the closet; when we retrieved it, we found it was visibly dirty with lipstick from a previous guest — clearly unwashed. There were only two pillows for a two-person bed. Standard hospitality calls for at least two pillows per person. We called that evening to request proper bedding. It never came. At 11:00 PM, we went downstairs ourselves, spoke with the manager, and retrieved linens — which we then had to put on the bed ourselves. This is simply not acceptable at any hotel, let alone one marketing itself as special class. The Bathroom Equally sparse. There was a single hand towel for two guests and no toiletries of any kind — not even the most basic amenities. The only soap available was a wall-mounted dispenser. Nothing else. Breakfast The photos on their website suggest an impressive spread — and it can be — but the reality is chaos. The hotel shares breakfast service with guests from a second property they own nearby, creating a Disneyland-like atmosphere.

Location. The first room we were given should have been condemned. It looked nothing like the photo's online. Cleaning was not great. Towels were not fluffy and seemed to be manufactured from nylon.

Great hotel, indeed a boutique hotel, in the heart of the city. Breakfast was exceptional, the room big & comfy. We were lucky to get a room next to the pool, which was a bit cold since it was April but still we had the chance to take some sunbaths when good weather outside. Helpfull staff & soecial thanks to Vera who welcomed us so nicely!

Very good location, the property has a few buildings some of them are renovated only those are good. In check-in we got frustrated as the young male receptionist didn't want to give us the upgraded room as booked on booking.com, they said the hotel is full while there was avaliablity they lied to us, after 15 minutes argument when i said i would cancel my booking then they call the manager & give us the right room Always there is bad smell in the rooms like wood or paint smell. They don't have iron boards which is necessary. The breakfast was very bad, i had to buy from a bakery near by.

Big apartment with comfortable bed, kitchen and balcony front & back. Great location in centre of old town. Nice to see UK TV on YouTube. Great breakfast & good reception. WiFi doesn't work in bedroom. Not much cooking facilities.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. The location is perfect to explore the old town. The quality price balance is good. The hotel has two resident puppies who are happy to play and have cuddles. They gave us a fruit platter in our room which was a nice touch. If you have any mobility issues make sure you contact them in advance as some of the rooms are up a lot of stairs. We didn't mind but it could be difficult for some people.

Bathroom needs maintance inspection. Room has a smell. i didnt mentioned but reception didnt offer same room as i booked in the booking.
