B in Antwerp

The concept was OK/Cool, the old building and historic presence was impressive We found it to be dark and a bit goth. Wall to wall black carpet is a little creepy. The air/heater didn't work, there was no refrigerator, hairdryer..no place for your toiletries. It looked like some college students put together an airBnB. Maybe better for the less discerning traveler, but would need to be priced accordingly. :/

The location was very nice, close to the city center and clean. The fact that we didn’t have a bathroom door was a little bit weird, but manageable. A small coffee machine or instant coffee would have been nice

Bed, atmosphere. First we had a room where the toilet was in the room as well, but the host was able to change this for us without any issue. Thank you so much for that! Shower in bathtub is inconvenient

The location was really great, nice residential area, much better than the cite centre of Antwerp. The design of hotel was very stylish and cute.

Suggest blurring toilet window for privacy and waterproofing bath surroundings.

Great value for money. A bath was a big bonus. Very comfortable mattress. It would be amazing if the room had a coffee machine or a kettle. We stayed at the top floor and to go downstairs just to make coffee was a bit uncomfortable.

Very good location, beautiful and picturesque area. The old authentic building doesn't have an elevator, which might be inconvenient if you have luggage. There was no one at the reception when I arrived, but the instructions on how to find the key and check in were quite clear and easy to follow. Check-in is suitable for those who don't want to wait long at the reception. The room is incredible, with a huge bed and a bathroom like something out of a movie about empresses. It was a bit chilly, but the complimentary wine left in the room warmed me up. The room is quite spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows. The breakfast was excellent; the only issue was a miscommunication. I specified during the reservation that I would be staying alone, but they prepared breakfast for two. However, the staff handled it with understanding, and we found a solution. I was more than satisfied with the breakfast on my birthday. It feels like the house is old, and the rooms would benefit from some cosmetic repairs.

Me and my daughter enjoyed a nicely decorated room (deluxe nr 2) with open bath which gives it a nice touch. B in Antwerp is situated in an elegant historical building in a lovely area and comes with a very welcoming and friendly host: good communication and our room was ready before check-in time. Also we were welcome to charge our phones for a while in the lounge after check-out time, which was great. We chose the room (deluxe nr 2) because of the open bath, which we enjoyed, but we were a little surprised by the toilet: no toilet door and no ceiling. I stayed there with my daughter, which was fine, but wouldn't recommend for couples/romantic stay. :) An extra standing mirror would be convenient.
