Breakfast buffet was good and had a variety of Sri Lankan foods. Kola kanda and Halapa were great! Rooms and bathrooms were clean. As in many Sri Lankan hotels, bathrooms were small and dark. Bedspreads looked old and gloomy.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, everyone from the front desk to the restaurant. Had the chance to meet and greet the senior management during the Christmas dinner. Good experience overall ! Room decor made it look dark and the toilets can benefit from an upgrade.

Lovely boutique hotel, has a fabulous pool and outdoor area, great views from the dining area. very quiet location. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. What sets this place apart is the staff (and owner), they were so accommodating, incredibly friendly and helpful. They offer cooking demonstrations which we arranged just after arriving mid-afternoon, said to go relax in the pool and came out later and offered to push out the time so not to rush us. Highly recommend. Food was delicious.

An ideal place to stay in Anuradhapura. Nice and calm location. Good selection of foods. Very nice staff in the restaurant. and excellent service. Actually, we arrived at the Hotel late evening, and we wanted to have dinner half an hour before the closure. However, we had the opportunity to dine leisurely, and the Restaurant Manager himself stayed until we finished, attending to our needs. So kind staff, excellent service cloth hanging arrangement, better if we had a cupboard

From arrival to departure, starting from the front office, the staff treated us very well. They were courteous and considerate. CEO Mr. Sumith Wijesinghe's very attentive nature is commendable. We had our dinner at the restaurant, and it was a blend of different Sri Lankan flavours with an international touch. Although it was a buffet dinner, Mr. Sumith arranged some of the dishes on the table. That was a different experience. Throughout, he and the F&B manager were looking after the guests and fulfilling their needs. The swimming pool was well located, but we were unable to use it due to the heavy rain. This hotel gives you a homely feeling because of their friendly nature.

Truly the best place to stay in Anuradhapura! The service was exceptional, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The highlight for us was definitely the stunning pool area, we spent hours relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. I also had a full-body massage at the Ayurvedic spa, and it was absolutely amazing, deeply soothing and refreshing. I’ve tried spa treatments in the Maldives and in other hotels, but this one truly stood out. It was better than any I’ve experienced before. A truly memorable experience. I’d love to come back and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and excellent service. Upon request, baby food is available from the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was also very clean. Baby cots are available, but you need to request them when booking the room. We look forward to staying at Heritage Hotel again during our future visits to Anuradhapura. A big thank you to the entire hotel staff for making our stay truly wonderful.

The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, making our stay pleasant. The swimming pool was very nice, with a good outdoor bar nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers looking for a welcoming and luxurious home away from home.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Anuradhapura. The front office staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were nice, clean, tidy, and spacious, and the bathroom was also very clean. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get around and visit all the main attractions in Anuradhapura. We truly enjoyed our time here. It was a great hotel at a great price. We would definitely stay here again if we return.

It is a good hotel with very good rooms and very good food that I can recommend to others. The first thing to start with at Heritage was the guys at the reception who helped us a lot. Thanks to their help, we were able to manage our business in no time. Also, the bell boy helped us a lot.The restaurant staff was very friendly and welcoming. Heritage Hotel is a really good hotel that I can recommend to others.
